Morning guys.... Have a good time today, Gris. I hope that you find a gem or two. Cool here this morning.

Spent yesterday cleaning the shop and making some new outfeed tables for my table saw. finished them up last evening after GS #3 b-ball game, which they won and he scored 6 points. Finish doing a few things for the shop today and a guy is supposed to bring me those doors to cut for hinges and knobs. Supposed to be a little warmer today, mid 50s.

I hope all of you have a great Friday.

Howdy! It was a balmy 10 degrees when I put the garbage out this morning. On the bright side, garbage doesn't stink much at 10 degrees. I am always a glass-half-full kinda guy :P

Have a good day, all!

Morning gang.
Have fun at the show Gris.
It's cold here this morn. Temps in the low 20's and a high in the mid 30's. It will be sunny though.

Not much going on. Looking forward to a quiet weekend.

Happy Friday.

Good Morning CGs!

Chilly here, as well. Wife left for work already so apparently I have to handle these children. Whoever came up with this arrangement needs a stern talking-to.

Been selling a few various tools online (sockets, wrenches, etc) and the messages I get from people are just absurd. Why ask me where I am when the location is listed in the ad? Why make me low ball offers when the price is firm? Some of them I just delete, some I respond to dripping in sarcasm. Just depends on my mood. Oh well, comes with the territory.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Sarcasm.......because beating the shit out of people is illegal......

Gris....good luck....may you find a rare one......

I got hit by a deer the other night coming home from soil testing......I saw a brief glimpse of antlers in the corner of the passenger side window and then about a half second later a bang as he ran into the rear quarter panel..... I got out and he was down so I finished him off with my hold out 357 and field dressed him on the side of the road......couple of farmers stopped and helped my throw him over the hood of the truck......had the 4 wheeler in back...........Country boy can survive......... ............................................just kidding .......... I just kept going until I stopped in a small village to see what the damage was...... He made a dent.........

today I am working outside and its cold now but warmer later.....next week looks like it will be in the 50's and maybe low 60's........ very nice.....

Keep the hammer down Guru's.......

That's the way it used to be and it made sense. Now you call Bambi animal rescue and see if it can be rehabbed.

Had a drop off in Key Largo to the big multi house estate on the ocean then went back down to Duck Key for another drop off. Another multi million dollar home on the ocean. I wonder how I might get a house or houses like that. Maybe if I show a white privilege card they would let me have one cheap. I once wanted to start a charitable contribution non profit called Underprivileged Yachtsmen. So guys that can't afford to buy a yacht get to use one from time to time. Guess I could afford one if I started a smuggling operation out of one. Nah. I like my life and my freedom more.

I almost hit a deer this morning on the way to work - they are out there in the darkness, for sure.

ALL SET FOR THE PUBLIC; TOMORROW YOU WILL BARELY BE ABLE TO WALK DOWN THE AISLES FOR THE CROWD.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE SHOW SO FAR IS AN ORIGINAL 12 POUNDER MOUNTAIN HOWITZER ON THE PRAIRIE CARRIAGE. THE GUN-TUBE IS ORIGINAL FOR SURE, MADE IN 1863, THE MOUNT MAY BE PARTIALLY RESTORED. DISPLAYED BY ONE OF THE BIG AUCTION HOUSES, IT'S JUST A TAD TOO EXPENSIVE FOR ME :-)

A HOWITZER WOULD BE NO FUN ANYWAY IF YOU COULDN'T SHOOT SHELL. SHELLS ARE EXPLOSIVE DEVICES ACCORDING TO THE NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT WITH ALL IT'S ATTENDANT TAX AND PAPER WORK. SHOT AND CANISTER WOULD NOT BE NEAR SO MUCH FUN.
