Beautiful sunny cool day here for the second day of race weekend. NASCAR is in town. I'm staying close to home working on yard stuff. Lots and lots of yard stuff to be done. Weeds galore.

I don't post very often, but I read them every day. I prefer the daily chat because I don't like sifting through the old comments from several days ago. Just my two bits.

Yeah I'm a traditionalist I vote we stay with daily chats.......more efficient I say........ rained some last night.......had to hit the brakes hard coming home last night but did not hit a deer........ eyes wide open at 60 mph with every light on I can find....... keeps you alert you know.......

Today a morning nap and then some office work....... I see the smart money picked Penn State to upset the Huskers today........ damn....... I may have to skip that one.........we are pathetic.........

Greetings! What I would have preferred was to sleep for another hour, but I am not unhappy with my effort. I am planning on a lazy day today, doing nothing until we go to dinner later with some friends. These sort of plans rarely work out. Meanwhile, I did get to say hello to the Vette last night when we brought dinner over to my MIL's house. The mouse bucket was empty, too.

I guess, daily works....or weekly....doesn't really matter. Hell I was lost all day looking for someone to post in the weekly one. When no one did, that's when I went looking at what was going on.

Good day guys....I slept in this morning, then we headed to the 'city' fairly early to pick stuff up for Thanksgiving as we are hosting #2/family and #3/family...maybe a couple girlfriends for GSs and we have invited Father.....could be as many as 14 to 16 people. Once back from the shopping I actually took a short nap. Went to church tonight, now I'm just chilling.

THE ARKIE INVASION IS OVER AND THEY HAVE WITHDRAWN AFTER CONSUMING ALL THE CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS AND CHOCOLATE CAKE.

#2 GRANDDAUGHTER WAS HAPPY WITH HER BIRTHDAY RING AND #6 GRANDSON WITH BD MONEY. THE ONE THING YOU'LL NEVER HEAR A TEENAGER SAY SAY IS "AW SHIT, MONEY AGAIN" :-)
