AT ANY GIVEN TIME THE VENDORS OUTNUMBERED THE CUSTOMERS AT THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING GUNSHOW YESTERDAY. IT WAS A VERY L-O-N-G DAY. SAM SOLD A HI-DOLLAR LUGER HE HAD TAKEN ON A SWORD TRADE.

THE BD PARTY WAS GREAT THOUGH, 16 AROUND A BIG TABLE, AND THE KIDS PAID THE TAB:-) I'VE WAITED A LONG TIME FOR THAT---
#1 GRANDSON GAVE ME A MINIATURE WHISKY BARREL. IT WAS EMPTY. NEED TO HAVE A LONG TALK WITH THAT BOY!

AND SPEAKING OF LONG---I DREAD TODAY. I SHOULD TAKE A BOOK TO READ.

Morning guys...Ready to spend the day making beirocks. I'll be shuttling them in and out of the ovens, so in the meantime, I'll help make the dough.

Supposed to be in the mid 70s here too. Won't make for cooling the beirocks an easy preposition.

Hidey-ho! I got most of my chores done yesterday, so I'll be focused on denting the couch today. At least that is my current plan.

In light of the thread title:

Have a relaxing day, Gurus!

This is just a bit too much information...I know you guys are empty nesters...but the middle of the day?

Marcus went to the doctor with a problem. He told the doctor "Doc, I don't know what's wrong with me. The last time I had sex with my wife, my body was shivering and I was freezing cold. The time before that, I was sweating like a dog and I felt like I was getting heat stroke." The doctor ran some tests and talked to Marcus for a while and finally said "I think I figured out the problem." Marcus replied "Oh thank you doctor, is it a serious medical condition?" The doctor replied "No, Marcus - the last time you had sex it was in January, and the time before that it was in July."

Sooooo...... Gris..... just curious what a vintage WWII Luger with original holster would be worth these days. It has the eagles stamped on it and everything...... My Dad brought it back from Germany when he was a B-17 pilot over there during the war.... I would never sell it of course just wondering.....

ANYWHERE FROM $700 TO $2K, CONDITION IS A LOT AND LUGERS COME IN MANY VARIATIONS THAT COMMAND DIFFERENT PRICES FROM AFICIONADOS. I'D RECOMMEND YOU GET A BOOK ON THEM, JUST TO KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE.

TODAY WAS A BETTER DAY, MARK SOLD SEVERAL "COWBOY" GUNS AND I TRADED FOR A WALTHER PPQ M2 AND MADE A GOOD BUY ON A KIMBER .45 ULTRA CARRY COMPACT. THE WALTER WILL PROBABLY GET TRADED OFF, BUT THE KIMBER I MAY KEEP. THE WALTHER TRADE WAS PRETTY MUCH A WASH, BUT IT WILL BE EASIER TO SELL THAN THE MAUSER I TRADED FOR IT.

CROWD WASN'T ANY BETTER, BUT PEOPLE WERE BUYING & BRINGING IN STUFF TO SELL.
