December 8....It's a cool morning, not bad, 36 already, that's as warm as it got yesterday. Saying it will make it to low 50s. Not bad for December.

I'm headed to NW Kansas this morning to talk to the carpentry class my former student teaches up at the regional vocational school. It's a two hour drive up there and I will leave after church this morning. I hope to be back by 8pm this evening.

I trust everyone will have a great day!

18 DEGREES IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THE CHEROKEES ARE THINKING OF MOVING SOUTH FOR THE WINTER.

AT LEAST THE SUN IS SHINING AND WE MAY GET ABOVE 40 TODAY. JUST HOPE THE WIND STAYS DOWN. YESTERDAY WAS WINDY AND UNCOMFORTABLE.

ALWAYS FORWARD, GURUS!

Howdy! Glad it is Friday, and it is whizzing by. Hope the pace of the weekend is a bit slower. Meanwhile, that Christmas shopping is not doing itself.

Have a good day, all!

Good Morning CGs!

It's cold here as well today. It was 18 when I left this morning to drop the kids off. I think it haa crept up a few degrees since the sun came out. The wife said the house was freezing when she woke up this morning. 63 degrees on the thermostat. Yeah, that's cold. The furnace does have to work a little harder when it's that cold out. I change the filter this morning, hopefully that helps a little. I try to change it every month but sometimes I forget. We have a constant circulation fan so the dust builds up a little faster than an old style furnace.

Sitting here now enjoying my lunch. Leftover tacos from yesterday. It's a little early for some people, but I like to eat my lunch early.

Hope everyone has a great day!

It's getting really tough to get into the holiday spirit... it's 80 today. And half of SoCal is on fire, which sucks.

We are ok, tho!!!

Not quite....Try to instill in these young kids that it is OK work hard and make something you can be proud to say "I did that". Besides who takes it easy????

Made it back just about on time....8:03 The students were very attentive today. I was pleased with the results and reaction of the students. They asked good questions and listened to my explanations and answers

Stopped and visited my sister and BIL on the way home, just about an hour, but worth a million dollars to me.
