Sue did well at the garden club show. She never really does poorly but some shows are better than others. Picked up 3 possible jobs as well. That's great for her. Not so good for me. Means I'll have to work. Been helping her over 20 hours a week as of late. Jobs at home are on the back burner. They're not gone. They're just on the back burner. I may need to find a handyman.

SUNNY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS BUT SUPPOSED TO WARM UP. THE CHEROKEES ARE ALL FOR THAT.

HANDYMAN CANDIDATE IS LOOKING PRETTY GOOD, HE HAS A BIT OF CRAFTSMANSHIP ABOUT HIM, UNFORTUNATELY HE IS A MOTORMOUTH. I WILL TRY HIM AGAIN ON SOMETHING LATER---

Good Morning CGs!

Off this weekend and doing projects around the house. The current project is painting RR#2's bedroom. The walls needed some extra prep work and primer so that took a while. Started rolling the color coat yesterday and it looked terrible. We let him pick his own paint color and it was supposed to be bluish-gray but ended up being almost a hunter green. Not a bad color in a different application, just bad for a boy's bedroom. So last night at 8:30 the wife and I were at Home Depot picking out a new color. I rolled the walls around 9:30 and the color is really nice. I need to cut in and do another coat. I'm worried I'm going to run a little bit short so there's a chance I'll be back at Home Depot today.

Marcus, did you look at the furnace yet? If you take a look at the circuit board it should have two flashing LED lights to tell you what the problem is. Could be something simple. Worth a shot before you call the repairman.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Howdy! Another admirable sleep-in effort, nearly a 2018 record. We had a good time at the surprise party for my son last night - us oldsters left at a reasonable time so the young folks could party unhindered.

Marcus, my son's fiancee went kinda off the rails last fall and called off the wedding out of the blue. The more we learn, the more we think he dodged a bullet. At any rate, it was tough on him, but he is doing much better now, and his friends have been terrific. Meanwhile, furnace mojo ;-)

Have a good day, all!

Afternoon guys....got up a littler later than normal but went to church in the town to the east of us...I walked in and one of their folks ask me, "You're a reader aren't you? We need a reader this morning." Luckily I had my glasses with me, so I got to do the readings....unprepared, but I did fine.

We came home and I started putting hinges on cabinet doors and cabinet doors on cabinets. Rosie made breakfast then back out to the shop to finish the doors and the drawer fronts.

Finished those then cut a plaque for Rosie....her office manager took another job and her last day is Wednesday so she wanted me to do this plaque for her.

Hope you get the furnace fixed today, Marcus. Tommy, maybe we should talk about the handyman you're needing. Painting racks up there with plumbing, for me, Matt.

Put a down payment on two sheds and a porch entrance for the big shed. One is 14'x 30' to house the golf cats, skid steer and some other equipment. The other is 24'x 30'. It's biggest the company is licensed to make in the state of Florida. Windows, double doors, electric outlets and switches installed. Inside will house an 8' x 10' room a 10'x 10' room and a 4'x 8' records storage room. Yes, it will cost a bit. Inside will be unfinished but ready to insulate, add a/c and wall board. Sue's new field office. Much cheaper than building a small house. Transporters will require an escort and sheds will have to be placed by crane. The 24' x 30' is in two sections that will be joined onsite. It's going on the property we just finished clearing. Stump grinder did his work today. All that's left is grading, leveling and picking up stones. Then we can put in the irrigation and ground cloth. New fences will be coming I have to take some current pictures. The sheds won't be done for 8 to 12 weeks. I think I'll be busy for awhile. Expanding the nursery is seriously cutting into my DNBFS time. lol I can see work for miles and miles and miles and miles.

55 in the house now........very cold outside with a strong north wind blowing......we are chopping up the dinning room set....its oak so will burn longer........ very nice.........

Matt.......uh........circuit boards....... no comprendo amigo...... the big thing outside that usually runs is quite and the furnace will not ignite the propane in the burner area so the backup system is down.......... plan B is the fireplace and several space heaters working around the living areas........also wearing my Carhart insulated coveralls with big mittens in the house......... the whiskey stays cold though....... enjoying some Crown Royal Vanilla...... to ease the pain.........

Forgot you run off of propane, Marcus. No experience with that. Hope it's an easy fix.

I hope you didn't take the cabinetry that I built and installed for you and threw it in the fireplace.
