I'LL DRIVE UP TO TULSA TODAY AND MAKE A PASS THROUGH A GUNSHOW WE DON'T DO. THESE FOLKS HAVE A FOLLOWING OF THEIR OWN.

Howdy! Nice and sunny today - it won't quite make it to 50, but it'll be close. Hopefully that will put more of a dent in the snow, which is still 2-3 feet deep in places in my yard. Looks like I'll be a few weeks behind schedule in bringing the Vette home this year.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

No sleep last night - although veeerrryyyy tired. Trailer all loaded, heavy load and you can't put a thimble in there if you wanted to they headed out at 6am to MO. I need to wash the vette inside and out, we're supposed to have a Vette run starting at 4 to a couple counties over to a cajun place I like. BF is doing an engine swap in a box truck for a client so it's just me. Which means I can drive faster
I'm just too tired and no enough get up and go to do any of it

I am planning to ditch cable TV in a few days - we've been trying out Hulu Live TV since last Tuesday. It isn't perfect, has a glitch every now and then, and the sound isn't as good for the live TV (they are working on that), but so far it's good enough. If I ditch our land line as well (which we rarely use anymore), I'll save about $130/month. I had to buy a few Fire Sticks for the TV's that weren't capable of running Hulu Live, but Amazon had a deal on them - slick little gizmo. Anyway, we'll see how it plays out.

You and I are on the same page. Thinking of telling AT&T and Directv to go skip a rope. I would save (or reroute) $285 a months. Sick of it. Still, I would need an internet service provider.

Nursery called me in at 09:00. 4 hours later I'm home. Too many hours of work to cram into the 4 hours I have before we meet up with BIL and one of his ex wives. Trying to stuff 10 lbs of $#!+ into a 5 lb sack. I'll let this emoticon speak for me.

Yeah, I'll still be paying about $60/mo for innerweb, but that doesn't bother me too much.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Had a successful morning retrieving the center piece for the entertainment center. It was not quite as heavy as I expected but still cumbersome. Got it in the house and in place. Hooked up the tv for the kids but I need to do the surround sound etc later. That's pretty involved and I'll have to make a few cuts in the backer board for the wiring. Maybe tomorrow.

Sunny here but cool. Still waiting for spring.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I see that my neighbor across the street has a rocking horse out at the end of the driveway with a "Free" sign on it. It reminded me of when I was a toddler - my folks had gotten me a rocking horse for Christmas, and it was hidden in the basement. I found it one day, and my mother discovered me riding it like there was no tomorrow.

I wasn't impressed with Hulu that much......spoiled by Directv....... we watch NetFlix a lot and also Amazon Prime. I just can't take watching anything that has ads anymore. 18 to 19 minutes of every hour is ads..... that's BS..... We record the network shows we like and then view them so we can fast forward thru the commercials....... We still like NCIS although it is getting long in the tooth. Our favorite is Blue Bloods and all the past seasons are on Netflix so we binge watch those....... I love a good binge watch......

I have to call Directv and threaten them with cancellation if they don't lower their prices and they always do. We have 4 TV's hooked up but they do piss me off....... let us know how that all works out Brad.......

Har! We still have the rocking horse my mother gave to my oldest when he was a toddler, so I think I'm set ;-)

Hulu Live gets all the local channels (I don't think this is the case in all markets). I only have 3 cable boxes (2 DVR's), so I had Roku sticks on a few others, and antennas hooked up to a couple more. We'd only used Hulu a little bit before - I signed up for their el-cheapo plan originally when the 11.22.63 mini-series came out exclusively on Hulu. I heard about the new Live thing a few months back and decided to give it a whirl. I figure it'll keep improving as most technology does. Meanwhile, if it isn't on Hulu Live, Netflix or Amazon, I probably don't need to see it :P
