SUNNY, 60 DEGREES, LIGHT WIND, THE CHEROKEES REJOICE!

SUPPOSED TO HIT 80 TODAY, BUT THE WIND WILL GET UP. PRAIRIE FIRES GOING CRAZY IN WESTERN OKLAHOMA; TEE, HOW ARE YOU ALL DOING UP THERE?

ALL THE BLOOD READOUT WAS GOOD, LOOKS LIKE I'LL LIVE UNTIL THE NEXT CHECKUP ;-)

ONE OF MY RULES FOR GOOD HEALTH IS TO AVOID THE MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. ONE OF MY MENTORS IN ANCIENT TIMES, AN MD, USED TO QUOTE, "90 PERCENT OF THE PHYSICIAN'S ART IS TO KEEP THE PATIENT'S MIND OCCUPIED WHILE HIS BODY HEALS ITSELF." TODAY YOU FREQUENTLY GET "TREATMENT" THAT'S WORSE THAN THE DISEASE.

TODAY I MAY GET TO SEE IF THE TOP STILL WORKS RIGHT ON THE TOMATO :-)

Howdy! Indeed, it looks like we may get another little blast tomorrow, then supposedly it will finally warm up. We shall see, I'll believe it when I see it.

Have a good day, all!

Good Morning CGs!

Yes Marcus, cold here and I'm none too pleased. I'm really getting burnt out with the weather.

Got my shiny tools dirty yesterday, the horror. My buddy has a little twin turbo BMW that was leaking coolant. Had to open it up a little and do some exploratory surgery. Found out the water pump (bottom of the engine bay) is toast. It's an electric unit and just poorly designed or manufactured. They are well known on the internet forums for going bad at 50,000 miles. This car had it replaced once at 90k and it has 135k now. A new water pump and tstat housing run about $450. And you thought Corvettes were expensive. Didn't change it out, didn't have the part or the time. Maybe once it warms up a bit.

Glad the bloodwork was good, Gris. Sure is handy having a daughter who is a vet

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning y’all... coffee starting to work therefore so are me.
Nice weather here, neighbors not so much. Teens and a phone happy drama mom next door and a couple with two rowdy running stomping elephant kids upstairs. Otherwise peaceful. Much needed.
Tommy my traveling partner in crime said on the last trip the crumbled cookies on their friends butt while she slept face down on her risk and the birds pinched her butt lmao

The problem run continues. So much going on I don't have time to ...... spit. Try to knock out what I can as fast as I can. Pond problems, A/C problems, new nursery problems and issues and of course I have to be on a plane Friday evening. be gone for 4 days. Trying to get everything stable by then. I hope so.

Tommy, you'd better start winding down now so you're relaxed by the time you hop on board your flight ;-)

Evening guys, Loooong day here. Up at a little after 6, left at 7 got here at 9 (8 MT), immediately started in on the counter tops...or at least getting the kids started on them. Worked until noon, grabbed a bite then right back at it until the boys left for the day. We weren’t far enough along in order to finish at a reasonable time tomorrow, so my GS, the instructor and I stayed until 6:45 (MT) getting to where I felt we could make it work tomorrow and still get home at a reasonable hour. Time will tell.

The school got me a room, so we’re clean, fed and relaxing. I’ll probably crash here pretty quick.

Tommy, you tell me to slow down...hint hint.
