Where is everyone? I slept in, everyone else must be sleeping in even more.

Sunny and seasonably warm this morning. Headed to upper 70s to low 80s today, but the wind is supposed to blow. We'll see, it didn't happen yesterday, maybe they'll miss the wind forecast for today.

I'm going to clay and JetSeal the pickup today, being it is clean. Also need to pack for my trip to Washington DC this week.

I hope everyone here has a great Sunday.

HERE IN THE IND'N NATIONS, WHERE IT IS 29 APRIL, THE SUN IS SHINING, IT'S COOL AND BREEZY. LOOKS LIKE A NICE DAY COMING UP.

TODAY'S BIG QUESTION: TO MOW OR NOT TO MOW. THE PLACE IS LOOKING AWFUL RAGGEDY, BUT I'LL HAVE TO DO A FOOT RECON OF THE BOGGY SPOTS BEFORE I DECIDE. TODAY'S WIND AND SUNSHINE SHOULD DRY THINGS OUT A BIT MORE AND THERE IS ALWAYS TOMORROW ;-)

AN EMPTY TRAP AGAIN, THE EVIL COON IS ETHER TRAP WISE OR WAS JUST PASSING THROUGH. I HAVE TO BAIT THE TRAP WITH BIRDSEED TO KEEP FROM CATCHING BRAVECAT AND THE ASSORTED VOLUNTEER FELINES THAT PATROL THE AREA. THEY KEEP THE SNAKES UNDER CONTROL. I'LL SET IT AGAIN TONIGHT AND WE SHALL SEE WHAT WE SHALL SEE.

Howdy! Moving a little slow so far this morning, gonna go out and tackle some more spring chores in a bit.

I've never used JetSeal - it is any good?

Have a good day, all!

I think it's Rejex packaged differently. It feels, smells and works just like Rejex only a tad cheaper. 2 hours and the job is complete.

The wind has made it's way here, just about on cue. It has brought some clouds with it and hopefully some much needed moisture.

I will pay them well of course.......

It is time for me to to mow the lawns......maybe about 2.5 or so acres of the stuff.......somehow I do not feel motivated.....maybe after my nap......

Tee goes to Washington.....? wear your deplorable stuff...... I hear Washington is like 85% Liberal......who would have thunk it..... I had a farmer tell me that liberals have no idea what it really takes to make this nation go...... the hard work and values that we use every day out here....... I had to agree....... hope you get to talk to Trump.......

Ok ok time to mow.........

Sorry, I've been MIA for the past few days....trying to catch up on posts.

TB, that's a nice story with the quilt.

Brad, congrats on getting the car home.

Tommy, enjoy your pot...s.

On Friday I did about 3 1/2 hours of yard work at Mom's house. I cut down about a dozen small trees and then I had to dig out two ancient steel laundry line posts set in concrete. That was sooooo much fun. Then I patched some drywall and I had to get going.

Yesterday the wife and I took the kids to the Volo Auto Museum. I recommend looking them up online. Kids had a ball and we saw a lot of cars and weird memorabilia. I saw a car there that was actually restored by a friend of mine. Pretty cool. Then in the evening we had a family party for my sister in law graduating her medical program. She'll be doing something with ultrasounds on veins and tissue or something like that.

Today the kids and I put together the new patio furniture we bought last fall on sale. Then we did some errands and played baseball.

I've had a whirlwind weekend and I'm exhausted.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Another 10 hour day at the nursery. Got the ramps done on the golf cart shed. Tomorrow I need to beef up the framing on the pot shed with cross members. The roof I worked on yesterday came out great. Sucks when things aren't square. Off by about an 2' on one end. Talked with mom today. She's doing better with rehab. One of my birds died yesterday. It's hard to tell with birds what's ailing them. 1 bird left. Harry Bird. My left hand has ample dings from handling sharp metal, screws with a drill, hammer miss and so on.
