THIS HAS BEEN THE FASTEST MONTH---

SUNNY, CALM, AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, WILL LIKELY RAIN THIS AFTERNOON. THE CHEROKEES ENDEAVOR TO PERSEVERE.

IN THE NEWS:
SOME JERK-OFF IN OKC STARTED SHOOTING UP A RESTAURANT, AN ARMED CITIZEN PASSING BY PUT AN END TO THE SHOOTING AND THE SHOOTER. THIS IS JUST AS IT SHOULD BE.

MAKING A RUN TO TULSA AND POINTS NORTH THIS MORNING, MAY NOT GET BACK BEFORE THE AFTERNOON MONSOON, SO I'LL TAKE THE TRUCK.

Greetings! We had a real gully-washer last night - I got up a couple time to make sure the deck furniture and garbage cans weren't blowing away. I expected to see Noah floating by. But all is well, and we needed to get some rain before the weekend - it'll be in the mid 90's. That should take some of the frozen out of the tundra.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Good Morning CGs!

After some headaches the new fence was finally installed yesterday. Looks nice and they did a good job. There were a couple of old stumps along the fence line and the company doesn't remove those. So I went out when they took the fence down and chainsawed those down to the ground along with removing a bunch of the brush and crap from my neighbor's yard so they could work. They were pretty impressed by that. I also had them move a post for my other neighbors fence that was technically on my property but I didn't want to leave him without a fence. Threw the guys a little cash tip and they were more than eager to help.

Now that we moved the fence back I have some additional landscaping to do. I'll be hiring someone to do that because is not my favorite task.

I finally got everything straightened out with the insurance company from when my wife got rear-ended last week. We will be dropping the car off on Tuesday for repair. It's a chain shop but I know the guys inside so it will be done right.

Hope everyone has a great day!
