It's been a rainy month. Quite frankly I've had about enough and rainy season has just begun. First named storm of the season passing through now. I've been working inside the new office shed painting. The shower is shaped up and the floor is starting to go in. The surface I'm painting is not much to my liking. It looks the the guy put up the tape and plaster with a flat shovel. I spent a day and a half cleaning up as much a I could by hand and pole sanding. Really the ceiling needs a texture coat now to cover the $#!+. It's only a field office so we are not going to go to that length. We know the guy as an A/C guy and he does excellent A/C work. He has worked under a G.C. building houses and claimed he could handle the sheet rock and septic system. We had more work for him but seeing what happened the above two instances we brought in some reputable help to do other tasks. He is a pretty good plumber in general though. Said he underbid some of the work. Good luck to him trying to pull money out of Sue. I have the first coat down on the ceiling and 3/4ths of the walls. May go with a different paint color in the kitchen area just as an offset. Next week I'll get to paint the outside. I asked Sue in he past "Do you really need another property?" "Do you really need such a big office space?" It will all be nice when it's finished but there is still a good way to go. The wells were dug on Friday and the pump to the office goes in on Monday. Talk about deadlines. (Sue) I need this like I need a hole in the head. I must HAVE a hole in my head.

SUNNY, CALM, AND MILD IN THE NATIONS, BUT IT'S WARMING UP FAST. THE SKY WAS CLEAR AND THE FULL MOON SHINING LIKE A SPOTLIGHT LAST NIGHT, A BRIGHT NIGHT INDEED.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY, DNBFS, TO COIN A PHRASE. THINKING ABOUT BILLH, MISS HIS POSTS.

Here are a couple of pics from, Mark, my neighbor, at his workplace. He works in Everglades National Park and around the state on crocodile rescues. These are of an alligator.

Morning gang.
Sunny here in N.W. Indiana. Should be in the upper 80's to low 90's. We finally made it to the campground for some camping. Ellen got all tired out when we went and got our lawn furniture from the storage unit side effects from have gone through radiation.

We are having a good time. She got to spend time with the grand kids yesterday and will again today. So that makes up for the work she did with me yesterday.

Have a great day.

Greetings! Gonna be toasty again today, 97 or so. I'm planning to BBQ later - I could probably just set the meat on the grill now and it would be done by dinner time. Meanwhile, we'll be heading out to the cemeteries shortly.

Enjoy your day, Gurus, and I hope Bill has an eternity of DNBFS.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Hotter than heck out there. I went out early this morning and got the pool pump assembled. It's running now but I still need to balance the chemicals.

Had a nice family BBQ yesterday.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey guys....hotter than H here today. Started early helping SIL take out a berm in the back yard. Went to Home Depot and rented a tiller to soften up the high points and then shovel and rack the loose stuff around. The soil is very clayish and doesn’t grind up very easily, so it doesn’t move very easy either. Work a while then rest a bit. Finally got it leveled out but wore my arse out too..

Can't find any energy. Allergies acting up. Tired. I really hate this feeling. The mind says to go and the body says no.
