I mentioned over a month ago that having a cruise scheduled gives me something to look forward too. The countdown seems to go so fast. I'm about 90 days out now and busy as ever if not more so. Sue wanted me to join her at a 1 year old's birthday party today. I told her that I really just have to much that needs to be done, which is true. I need to get on the other side of this mountain of work so I can get back to a more tolerable and manageable work load. The cars have suffered the most just sitting in the car port and garage collecting dust. I ran everything (but the boat) a couple of weeks ago but the outside cars need full details and a good drive. The boat needs special attention. Too hot in the summer for me to go boating but I need to drain the gas and tighten everything up again. All the toys I set up for my days in retirement are patiently waiting for me. Mechanical things sitting and waiting only gives them the opportunity for something to fail from lack of use. Like my ............ never mind .......

WARM AND STICKY IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, 78 DEGREES ON THE FRONT PORCH WHEN I GOT UP THIS MORNING. IT'S OVERCAST ANT THE WEATHER WIZARDS SAY RAIN IS LIKELY.

TOMMY, I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ABOUT GETTING STUFF DONE IN THE SUMMER, THE WINDOW OF TOLERABLE TIME TO DO THINGS OUTSIDE GETS SMALLER AND SMALLER.

GOT SOME BILLS TO PAY TODAY AND THAT'S ABOUT ALL---

ALWAYS FORWARD, GURUS.

Morning guys...I was AWOL yesterday. Got up and went to the shop and worked for a bit (after sleeping in some) and then had a invite to go golfing....I couldn't turn that down, so that took up the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon. Came home and worked in the shop, made several computer calls and that pretty much concluded my day. It was warm and a bit muggy yesterday, then we got some rain last night (1/2").

Today, slept in again and another computer call on the agenda over in the 'city'. I'll go over in an hour or so. Today is GS #2 birthday, 17 and will be a senior this year. He had to work this morning, but we are taking him (his mom and two brothers) over to the 'city' for his lunch (Buffalo Wild Wings is his choice), so I'll meet them after my computer call. The back home as we are scheduled for ministering at church at 6.

Well, I got to get going later guys.

Howdy! Priorities looks like the theme for the day. Mine are:

1). Mow the lawn
2). Go to the Hastings car show
3). Have some mini-donuts

Have a great day, Gurus!
