ANOTHER COOL AND SUNNY MORNING IN THE NATIONS, CAN THIS REALLY BE AUGUST?

THE LAST KNOWN COON IS IN THE TRAP, READY FOR EXILE ACROSS THE RIVER.

SON IS OUT OF THE HOSPITAL, FLYING HOME TODAY. I'M HEARING SOME VERY DISQUIETING NEWS ABOUT THAT.

#3 GRANDSON'S MEXICANA SWEETHEART'S DAD RAN FOR A LOCAL POLITICAL OFFICE AND LOST BY "RECOUNT". TAKES A BRAVE MAN TO GET INTO POLITICS IN MEXICO.

Morning guys.....Like Gris, it's a nice refreshing morning here in SW Kansas, but the forecast is into the low 90s, so I'll be turning the AC back on.

A little more cleaning and re-arranging to do in the shop.

That news doesn't sound that good, Gris....please keep us posted.

Howdy! It is a balmy 57 degrees, must be time to get the snowblower out. Yikes! Meanwhile, I can't get enough of the campaign adds, really looking forward to another few months of them. When I am elected, all campaign adds will only appear on a dedicated channel. And while I am at it, pharmaceutical ads will also only appear on their own channel.

Much mojo coming your way, Gris.

Have a good day, Gurus!

It has been not bad here overall......but it is always hot in the corn field and itchy.......lots of sweating going on...... mud also...... its icky.......

Tomorrow I am going to play golf...... I know my yearly game...... when you have the skill set I do on the course..... you can only play once a year and do as good as you ever do...... that is called talent...... hope I win a bunch of swag....... let's see where are all those water balls I have collected wandering in the rough last year...... I never want to buy new ones you know...... as long as you can read the lettering......

Got the parts in for the Fiddysix........will be getting it back tomorrow.... may have to take it in to the Star City to the impromptu car meet they have every Friday night at the Sam's club parking lot...... right by Culvers.....I love Culvers......

Have a decent kinda day Guru's...

Nice cool morning here today, turned off very pleasant for the rest of the day and cool out this evening. Well, cool-ER. We're happy. We'll take it. Interested in that giant yard sale happening for 126 miles. Wouldn't mind trying to get in on some of that. I need to do that like I need another hole in my head.
Prayers Gris for you and your son

Well, my plans for the day went the way Tommy's normally do. Got a call fro a nice lady needing computer help....That took all morning. Then once I got home I started my cleaning in the shop....another phone call about a computer issue. That one took about 45 minutes on the phone. At this point, I decided to go in and fix my lunch. I sat down to eat it and starting watching a little TV, the next thing I know, I wake up and it's 2:15. Thinking I need to go out and get busy, a text message come in. It's the mother of a girl I replaced an iPhone screen for. She wants to know if, and how much it would cost to fix her iPhone 7+. I tell her I've not done a 7+, but it just so happened that I have a screen for one on hand. She says she'll bring it over. So I head into the house to review the procedure (via my materials supplier). And it just so happens that I have a totally ruined one (the reason I have the screen) and decide to tear it apart before I have to do it for real. It's a bit different from iphone 5 and 6, but not significantly. So I have things ready to go, sit there waiting for her to show up. About 5pm she sends a text saying she isn't going to make it today and would it be alright to bring it over tomorrow.....Ahh, NO I'm headed to KC....so we will do it next week. But I, more or less, wasted the afternoon and part of the evening.

It warmed up enough today that I had to turn the AC back on, but it has cooled off this evening.
