Just read this story. Maybe if Chicago had stricter gun laws this wouldn't have happened. Possible proposed new laws could be ....... No unlawfully possessed weapons within 1000 ft. of a window or door. At no time may an unlawfully possessed weapon touch fabric, leather, wood, plastics or any mechanically or hand produced items. People found carrying an unlawfully possessed weapon may be charged under current laws for carrying unlawfully possessed weapons and in special zones, like the whole city, double penalty assessment zones.
