It's a pretty morning here....had a little bit of rain last night and it is still cloudy this morning and chance of more rain. Temps are supposed to be moderate again today with highs in the mid 80s.

I'm still treading water in the shop. I start another bath remodel next week.

Well I hope everyone heere has a great day.

My rant on the lawnmower took longer than the fix. A red wire from the motor that charges the battery had a clip that worked off it's prong. Charged it back up, turned the key and it worked like new again. Had me thinking how some people world have brought it straight to the shop because they wouldn't have even looked. Then there's Matt. He would have torn it down, put it back together again, then said, "Hhhmmm, this wire is disconnected.".

Hidey-ho! Golf was decent, but it was quite sticky out there, and the mosquitoes were having a banquet. Meanwhile, my nose is firmly stuck to the grindstone this morning.

Tommy, you neglected to mention that Matt would've first procured a set of lawnmower repair tools ;-)

Have a good day, all!

OVERCAST AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, HAD A LIVELY LITTLE THUNDER SHOWER YESTERDAY EVENING BUT IT WAS MORE WIND THAN RAIN. NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY. BEEN READING A HISTORY OF THE MONGOLS; THE EXTENT AND DURATION OF THE MONGOL EMPIRE IS QUITE REMARKABLE.

AS I SURF INTERNET "NEWS" SITES I NOTE A WIDE VARIATION IN LEGAL ACTIVITY:

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has laid out a new voter registration drive in the city’s correctional facilities. Eligible inmates will be able to directly sign up to vote and have their absentee ballots picked up from jail.

Grand jury averaged 39 seconds per case; York County lawyers want 900 indictments tossed

AND IN HOUSTON

TANKS ARE FUN TO DRIVE, EVEN MORE FUN TO SHOOT (A SCOPE SIGHTED 105 MM RIFLE FROM A 52 TON BENCHREST) BUT A BIT PONDEROUS. ALL MINE HAD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS,BTW, THE RUSSIANS WERE A LITTLE BIT BEHIND.

MORE FUN THAN A TANK IS THE M113 APC. IT'S A LOT LIKE A SPORTS CAR ON TRACKS, WITH STEERING LATERALS. YOU CAN DO A TWO-TRACK DRIFT :-)

Don't think I haven't thought of that. lol Also abandoned air strip for a car testing with houses built on the perimeter. Hangers could be used for car storage. You get home from a hard days work and go for a few runs.
