Good Morning CGs!

Sorry I missed the past few chats.

Finally back home after a long family vacation. We were in Flagstaff AZ for about 10 days. Had a great time and we didn't want to leave, but it's nice to be home. Still adjusting to the time change but it will be nice to sleep in my own bed tonight.

TB, happy belated anniversary.

Tommy, glad you got the lawnmower fixed with a simple wire. And Brad, I already have a lawnmower tool kit, duh But on that topic, I was Mr. Fixit for my aunt and uncle while I was out there. I had to fix a bad valve on the BBQ, then I fixed the wiring on the stovetop ignitor, then fixed the dryer, then gave the chainsaw a tune up and adjustment. I enjoyed it and they were tickled pink to have everything up and running again.

That's it for me.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Sounds like you had fun, Matt. Any new acquisitions? Today I have to stay close to home as Sue is expecting an incoming shipment of live ladybugs. No shortage of things for me to do around the house as I wait. Seize the day!

We had a great time. I think Arizona is where we will move at retirement time.

Always a few new acquisitions here and there

Greetings! I slept like a rock, after moving all the boulders yesterday. They only ranged in weight from about 20 to 50 lbs. but there were around 450 of them. I am waiting for the coffee and ibuprofen to kick in so I can go play with them some more. At least it is hot and muggy out :P

I'll bet your aunt and uncle were sorry to see you go, Matt!

Have a good day, yawlz!

We have an area about 2000 sq. ft. in the back yard behind the garden, where the grass doesn't grow anymore, under some huge trees (which were twigs when I planted them decades ago). So we're using the boulders to form a border around that area, and will mulch the whole thing.

Hey guys.....I was sleeping pretty good when we were awakened by the door bell......ignore.......doorbell again. Well, I guess it is time to get up. It was the neighbor from across the street, they have been moving to the other end of the state, were back for another load and needed help moving some things out of the basement. One being an elliptical exercise machine I remember helping them move down there....SOB weighs about 350 lbs and barely fits down the stairs. Took four of us to move it down there and we were way younger then. We got it up and in the trailer. Then he needed a little help with a few other things...after two hours, he gave each of us a $20. I came home and took off my sweat soaked shirt sat down in my Lazy-boy and the next thing I know two and a half hours have passed. We have church in an hour and a half, so not much time to do anything else.

The rain never developed last night, so, as it turns out, We could have taken the Corvette over to the cruise in. Lots of freaking Vdubs there. A couple of old Corvettes.

Glad you had a good trip, Matt. Marcus, you got to keep uwoman satisfied. Brad I feel for your back.

Coulda been worse tee. He could have given you $20 an old candy bar and stale potato chips. Which reminds me, I had an elderly neighbor as a kid that would give us a dime, maybe 25 cents on a rare occasion to take out her trash. We all learned to decline her food offerings. I don't even think the rats would have eaten the stuff. She was doing experiments long before the guy did the McDonalds burger and fries test. She may have offered a glass of soda, back then they gave you maybe a 4-6 oz. glass. That was OK because you could see it come out of the bottle and fizz. lol People were smaller then I believe because everything came in smaller servings.
