Good morning, all.

Foggy this morning, but it's burned off.

Greetings! Sunny for now, but naturally there is some rain in the forecast, since it is golf day. Nothing like what there's been out in PA, though - mojo for all affected.

Have a good day, Gurus!

IT'S RAINING ON THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, INCH AND THREE QUARTERS IN THE RAIN GAUGE, MORE EXPECTED.

A DISMAL DAY INDEED.

An abundance of uninformed "solutions" has been one of our biggest social problems.

My ass has been dragging the last few days. Started a regimen of vitamins to try and kick start the system into the virile, youthful, tactile example of a human being I know I can be. I would to be able to lift some weighty kettlebells, if I had any.

Very cool......thanks for posting Brad......

Raining off and on here. hope it keeps up. makes my job easy.

Had a good client show up last night and we went out to dinner and then he gave me a bottle of Weller Special Reserve...... so we crack that open and had a shot on the rocks. Very smooth....a wheated bourbon...... some folks claim its the same as Pappy Van Winkle bourbon only not aged as long..... all comes out of Buffalo Trace....... did not get to bed early......

Gotta go now.......more later........

I have a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue Label, Flor de Cana Centenario 12 year single estate rum and a bottle of Crown Royal I have sitting on a table, all with my name on it. I will sample all on my 70th birthday. I figure if I make it to 70 and can cheat a little on my current no drinking policy. Sue is none to thrilled about my plan. May have to do it in private. 16 years sober this month. One day at a time.

VERY GOOD STUFF, ACTUALLY A LITTLE TOO SMOOTH FOR MY TASTE; I LIKE THE REGULAR OLD WELLERS.

DISASTER!!! WIFE LOST HER GROCERY LIST! STARVATION LOOMS--- (I'M PRACTICING TO BE A JOURNALIST :-)

BRAVE CAT IS DEFINITELY IN HER DOTAGE. WE NOW HAVE TWO CHIPMUNKS HANGING AROUND, ONE WITH A BOB TAIL. WHETHER SHE HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT DETAIL I KNOW NOT.

HAVE A NEW VOLUNTEER BARN CAT, BIG GRAY WITH A WHITE BIB AND BACK FEET. QUITE FOLK-SHY.

THESE SEMI-FERAL "VOLUNTEERS" DON'T STAY FOR CONVERSATION.

MY FAVORITE WAS A BIG YELLOW TOM THAT HUNG AROUND FOR SEVERAL YEARS. THE CLOSEST HE EVER LET ME GET WAS ABOUT 12 FEET :-) HE DISAPPEARED AFTER A BIG HAIL STORM WITH GOLFBALL SIZE HAIL.

We have a couple of those that live under the front porch..... the only time I see them is at night when they walk on the porch by my window in the library........ I just watch them.....they are well fed so I know they are doing some work around here........

Gris..... I don't know if you can have bourbon that is too smooth....... that's like you can't be too rich or something........or too much horsepower.....

Hey guys... been a busy day. I was at church helping prepare for the funeral. Then the funeral Mass after that the dinner. I was just about ready to head over to the 'city' when I got a phone call that the lumber truck was twenty minutes out, so I hung tight and unloaded that then headed to the 'city'. Got over there and started cutting the first piece of rock and ready to hang it when I notice the stubs for the plumbing are too short to get the valves on once the rock is hung. So take that piece out and decide to wait, as I knew the plumber was coming to hook up the shower valve and drain. So I start to cut another piece when the plumber shows up and I end up helping him....next thing I know it's 4:45 and I have to head home to make church (tomorrow is a holy day of obligation). So today was a church day for me.

Temps have been below average, but humidity well above.
