Morning gang. The alarm was not welcome. I going to work early so that we can go camping this weekend. Back in the day those were called conference calls.
Looks like a rainy day. Should be nice this weekend though.
Have a great day gang.

Hey guys... I'm up and getting ready to head north to get GS #1 car. Not sure what to do with it. Guess I'll figure it out when I get there and look at it.

Later.

I've got to get to a phone. My beeper just went off.

Days just seem to never end. Go from dawn till dusk and beyond. That's what I get for marrying a Sue. I've been saying of late that she lives all of her life and half of mine. That's just f@(%ed up. Today I'll spend at least half a day "helping" her. Have to go to the bank then debone a bunch of chicken for the dog's food because she is doing an installation today. .... NEVER BORED .... I feel a Tourrette attack coming on ......

Good morning, all.

A busy weekend coming up means I won't get much done with the 1985 in the next few days (maybe a good idea after yesterday's contretemps). One of my best friends will be staying with us for the next few days and my goddaughter and her family are coming over for fancy tacos tomorrow evening.

Teebee, good luck with what is left of the car. In that situation, I hate the uncertainty.

Tommy, hang in there.

OVERCAST AND MILD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, WAITING FOR THE RAIN (MAYBE). HEADING UP TO TULSA TO SET UP FOR THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING GUNSHOW. IT'LL BE GOOD TO SEE THE USUAL GANG, IF THEY'RE ALL THERE. THE OLDEST OF THE BUNCH HAS NOT BEEN WELL; DON'T KNOW IF HE WILL SHOW.

Greetings! Us old guys won the golf tournament yesterday, so we get bragging rights for a year. We finished just in time - it poured afterward (there had be NO rain in the forecast). Meanwhile, we're packing up to go visit my sister and niece up north.

I REALLY wish I hadn't seen that pic of Tina Louise ;-)

Have a good weekend, all!

Rained here this morning, and all last night. Not much sleep due to that, and with it being dreary today I have a horrible case of the lazies. Time for a pot of coffee and see if that gives me any ambition. I have things I need to be doing but my get up and go has got up and went. Not sure about "old" but for me hitting 5-0 it sure made me feel like it. Maybe it's all in my head?

Well, we are home. I'd sure like to know how the h3ll he hit the passenger side of the car...front and back doors, rear fender AND the back end. The car drives...I drove it up on the trailer. I brought it home as I just couldn't haul it to the salvage yard. The local body shop guy has a CTS that he picked up, been in his possession for almost three years and the guy has never come back to get it. Storage fees have eaten up more than the value, so he has started the process of taken ownership of the car. It's a long drawn out story, I don't have time to explain everything, but the car isn't too bad...needs a battery, tires, windshield and the headlights are foggy. All these parts can be removed from the wrecked one, plus a few more. I would like to pull the engine/trans and keep it,but no sure whether I'll do that. Anyway he let me unload the car and park it next to the other one so we can transfer parts.

The trailer I borrowed pulled like a dream, both empty and loaded.
