Figured I would start one....

Changes, they are a come'n.

I have selected a new forum product and I am in the process of converting the database over.

I hope to have it all done this week.

This could be fun ......... or not. ;)

Dropped off the skid steer. Now go cut the nursery grass. Whoo-hoo! As soon as I finish it will need cutting again. Plenty of other projects remain. Is a nap a project? Nah.

Hidey-ho! The sun is shining (sort of), so I will have to try to find some time mid-day to get out there and attack the lawn with the mower combine before it rains again.

Good luck with the new software, Andy!

Have a good day, all!

Good luck with the new toys, Andy!
Had a crew over yesterday for a fish fry, cousin and a friend of his dropped in to crash the party, it all worked out. Ran errands all day Friday then went to look at a truck. BF found one locally like I'd been wanting. Turns out salvage title, but I'm okay with it so long as it's done correctly. He wanted more than it's worth and the body work on most of it was great, tailgate would need redone, steps had been removed. I'd have to tweak some things here and there. Price he shot me was financed. I told him cash. He said 'let's talk'. He requoted, I told him no way, he asked my offer. I told him he wouldn't like it and he asked anyway so I told him. He said "have you looked at it?" and I said Yes and then told him what all issues I found and that was the justification for my offer. I told him I'd pay his price if he took care of all the things I saw. I'm not after a perfect truck but if you want that price, then those are the things that will have to be taken care of. Plus it's a salvage now and if it gets totaled again by me or anyone else, insurance will take 40% off the NADA clean retail this time which is another justification for my offer - considering the present condition. Needless to say we didn't make a deal. I cleaned and did some housework Saturday and had a pool break. BF brought us home a new "toy" also - nice little used thing for me to learn to ride on. Then, it's his to ride while I ride the four wheeler off roading

Hey guys....been at it since the git-go. Computer work right off, then look at a new counter top job. the funeral for the boy is tomorrow. I guess this wasn't the first attempt for him...I guess he's had trouble most of the summer. Daughter said he just got out of therapy Friday night...I guess it didn't hold much water.... Still sad. They said it was over a girl.... he called her Friday night and told her he was going to do it, she calls his brother, but by the time he got there it was too late. I feel for the brother.....

Going to be hot, hot, hot today. upper 90s maybe low 100s. A cool down then for a couple days before it moderates some through the weekend.

Good Evening CGs!

Hot and muggy here today. Miserable weather. The grass didn't grow for three weeks. We had a few cool days with rain last week and now it shot up. Don't feel like cutting it now as hot as it is. It's supposed to cool off a few degrees later this week. Might rain some more, though. Can't win.

School is going well for the kids so far. They are still at the age where they like it. That'll change ...lol.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I made the trip up north to pick up GS#1. He's got to be in court tomorrow to appear on his ticket for his accident. Once he is done, then I'll take him back. Fours hours on the road this afternoon/evening....four hours tomorrow. Did get a nice chat with him. He's liking school and likes the guys in his dorm unit.

How far west do you come out to, Gris?

Tomorrow the highs are supposed to be in the mid 80 and then low 80s on Wednesday.
