Only two and a half months of summer left here in Florida.

Like Matt mentioned, almost time to break out the Christmas decorations again.

Game day in Nebraska.....the whole State is giddy with anticipation...... The Gov has declared it officially Scott Frost day in Nebraska.... the faithful are gathering in their favorite watering holes and tailgates to prepare for battle with the Akron Zips...... what is an Akron Zip anyway? We anticipate a big win.......

I will take in the GS to the game so I get some miles on it....been the least miles I have run in a summer since I got it..... try to make up for that this fall......

Go Big Red Guru's.....

Good afternoon, all.

Tommy, I just knew you were going to use that song.

It's cooler (currently 74) but still humid (81%) in the Philadelphia area today. I went for a short (a little under two miles) run as I try to baby my fractious left knee. So far so good.

Now, back to work—one of my biggest private clients has a major website upgrade this weekend.

Good Morning CGs!

Wifey is away so the children will play. Wife is working for a few hours this morning. Each of the kids had one of their friends come over. They are all playing in the basement. Time for hot dogs pretty soon....the lunch of champions. That's what Marcus eats, at least, and he's a champion.

Our cousins called last night and invited us out to the movies. I can't tell you how many years it's been since we went to the movies to see a movie without the kids and one that didn't involve cartoons or something Disney related. We ended up seeing Mile 22 with Mark Wahlberg. A government/military type movie with lots of good action and fight scenes. The ending is a good surprise that I didn't see coming. I'd recommend it to the Gurus since we all like the same type of stuff

Hope everyone has a great day!

Up at normal time and headed off to see FIL. Got about 6miles from home when I realized I forgot the radar detector. So turned around and went back to get it. Didn’t need it at all. 007 ran really good, and was quite a bug killer....took me 30minutes to clean them off. Headed off to s great nephew and nieces birthday party at SIL House. Getting hot here mid 90s now.

Have you tried something like this:

When I remember to put it on, it works very well.

Howdy! Got busy right away this morning (it is LABOR Day weekend, after all) doing some more landscaping. I'm hoping the ibuprofen kicks in pretty soon.

Here's a pickup that just needs a little TLC:

Enjoy the rest of your evening (which will be brief for me).

I normally put a coat of Rejex on before leaving so they don’t stick....but didn’t take the time to do it today. That stuff looks promising.
