CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, FALL IS IN THE AIR AS WE MOVE TOWARD MY FAVORITE MONTH, OCTOBER.

WE GET RID OF DARLING WIFE'S OLD PATHFINDER TODAY, FOR A GIVE AWAY PRICE BUT IT'S GONE. THEN SHE'S OFF TO ARKANSAS AGAIN TO BABY SIT WHILE SON & DIL RETURN TO MAYO TO CHECK/ADJUST BILE DUCT STENTS. HE IS DOING AS WELL AS CAN BE EXPECTED AND TOLERATING THE CHEMO WELL.

THE PEPPERJACK CHICKENFRY WAS UNDERWHELMING. NO JOY THERE.

Good morning, all.

Light rain in the Philadelphia area this morning.

Concern to the south of us about the approach of Florence—the first serious winds are expected to hit North Carolina Wednesday evening with the center of the hurricane arriving early Friday morning.

Morning guys...pretty morning here, mid 50s and headed toward the mid 80s. I was asked, by our preist, to help him this morning at a funeral, so I'll be headed up to church after while. The funeral is for the grandmother of my neighbor across the street, I didn't know her, she was 99 and in a home.

Howdy! Another picture-perfect day here- this would've been a good week to take off. But noooooooooooooooooooo. Anyway, I will commune with the lawn mower later. I really should dust off the Vette and get it out of the garage.

Have a good day, yawlz!

I have friends that live just off the North Carolina coast. Cat 4 is serious business. Though I never leave because of all our critters I seriously suggest people get the hell out of there and head for the hills way out west of the state till after the danger passes. Secure what you can and go.

Hell of a start to the morning. Pigs wouldn't come when I called. That NEVER happens. Found them lying under a low tree not coming out. One has a bloodied nose. I see a part of the fence has been pushed. Had to do some repairs to that. Next cleaned up the pond. I've been having to clean it 2-3 times a day lately. PITA. Oh well. Bitching never gets anything done. Time to go to work .... again ......

Speaking of beating up on the Hoglets - Razorbacks...

But would a hoglet push a fence enough to bloody it's nose? on purpose?

Perfect day here today - started off perfect anyway. My one day off that's nice and figuring since it's Monday it'd be quiet and I could sit out back and start the day off peaceful and enjoy being alone a whole day nobody bothering me. Noooooooo, Jackass next door has to mow his yard for two hours to hide from his wife, then the edger with metal blade up against the concrete then the weedeater - then come the home school kids next door outside, metal door banging off the hinges and them screaming and crap. FN kill Me AlLrEadY! My anxiety was about a 12 out of 10. Came in the house and whaddya know - all is quiet.
anyway, picked up a new (to me) double lounger off the local facebook yard sale ads . I happen to know the lady - mutual friend as well. Nice metal, good thick cushions, each chair raises on each end, and wheels to move easily. Purty groovy. I'm happy.

Thank you

I don’t have as many places to sit as some of you others but there’s plenty of nappin spots - loungers, hammock...

Looks real nice, Letty. A great spot for an N/A beer. lol The bigger pig got out before under a fence and the neighbors dog bit her face up. This time it was the other neighbors and I can only guess she at least tried to go under the fence. it was pushed back like that and she had blood at the tip of her nose. She was probably trying to go over and raid the neighbors fruit that had fallen from the tree. Pigs are pigs when it comes to food. I put in 4 pieces of rebar and wrapped them to the fence to make the bottom stronger. The pigs and the dogs will have to find another weakness. They are all a pain in the ass, especially when they escape.
