GOOD MORNING ALL---

JOHN, HOW DID LAUREN DO?

CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS, LOOKS LIKE THE BIG RAIN EVENT IS OVER FOR THE CHEROKEES, THE CHOCTAWS ARE STILL GETTING IT. INCH AND A HALF IN THE GAUGE, IT WAS A "FARMER'S" RAIN, SLOW, STEADY, WITH VERY LITTLE RUNOFF. DARLING WIFE OFF TO OKMULGEE TODAY FOR SOON-TO-BE GRANDDAUGHTER-INLAW'S WEDDING SHOWER. NEVER DID UNDERSTAND ALL THIS FEMALE WEDDING PROTOCOL.

Movements often attract fanatics or borderline personalities, and that's exactly what happened. Too many damaged women with bitter gripes against men took over feminist discourse. CAMILLE PAGLIA

Morning guys...That looks about right Tommy. Even some from the mid-west aren’t sure. We woke up about our normal time, which is an hour early for anything here. So Rosie made bacon, egg and tomatoe sandwiches for breakfast. It’s chilly, 43 now but headed to the mid 70s. I’m off to golf, an 8:08 tee time (7:40 now)

Have a great day

Hidey-ho! I slept in REAL good, since I will need to be at full-strength to do battle with the jungle that is my lawn.

Have fun, Gurus!

Well, the golf was....well, golf. It was kind of cool to start, but turned out really nice. We all peeled the long pants and jackets by the fourth hole. I got matched up with three local guys. Had a good time even though the golfing could have been better. I know that the altitude got to me some. During the back nine, I got really tired...almost light headed....that’s when the golf went south. On one of the greens, a herd of elk had just walked across not too very long before we were there hoof prints everywhere and some other ‘signs’. Another hole we walked up on a couple fawns, three wild turkeys (no not the kind in the bottle ) and, I think it was mama doe. None of those were very concerned about us. The things you see on a mountain course.

Came back to the unit, Rosie warmed up the left over pizza from last night and within a few minutes I was out for an hour and half. Church is coming up here in a couple hours.
