Good Morning CGs!

Cold here this morning. The dew on the grass has become a crunchy little frost blanket. Not ready for winter yet, we didn't even have a fall. The leaves are still on all of the trees.

Speaking of frost, I need to blow out the sprinkler system and get it ready for winter. Probably tomorrow.

I mentioned yesterday that the car is tucked away at my mom's house. I have to call the insurance company today and pull the full coverage off.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Up early and now sitting awaiting my dr appointment. Been on the road for two hours, the sun was BRIGHT when it came up this morning. Good thing I had made it to the 4 lane road by then. Cool but no wind so it’s a nice fall morning.

Hope you, all, have a great Thursday.

Hidey-ho! It's gonna be a beautiful fall day here, 68 and sunny. Perfect for golf. Sadly there is no golf on the agenda. But maybe tomorrow.

Matt, thanks for the reminder - I forgot to cancel the insurance on my Vette, will call them pronto!

Have a great day, Gurus!

HI Y'ALL---
SEMI-SUNNY AND COOL HERE 55 DEGREES, THAT'S ABOUT RIGHT FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. THE CHEROKEES APPROVE.

WENT OVER TO THE WHEELHOUSE FOR BREAKFAST; THEY WERE CLOSED. I'M ABOUT FED UP WITH THEIR IRREGULAR HOURS. I LIKE THE OWNERS, LIKE THE FOOD, BUT THE SPORADIC HOURS HAVE ABOUT PUT ME OFF THEM.

A DOMESTIC DISASTER HAS OCCURRED: MY 20 YEAR FAVORITE COFFEE CUP SPRUNG A LEAK AND I'M HAVING TO USE ANOTHER CUP.

OH THE TRAUMA---I MUST FIND A SAFE SPACE---I FEEL PTSD COMING ON---THERAPY, I NEED THERAPY.
FINANCIAL DONATIONS WILL ALSO BE ACCEPTED :-)

You need to have a double shot of Wellers Special Reserve and the world will come back in focus......in the meantime do what you must to fix the cup....any measures are appropriate.......good luck to ya.....

Perfect weather here.....warm sunny....almost like real fall......not putting any of the cars away until November....... got the stock 15 x 7" wheels ordered and the wide white wall radial tires......along with the stock 56 Bel Air hubcaps to put on the fiddysix..... the wheels will work with the disc brakes...... all brand new stuff..... amazing what is available for the mid 5 cars......you could build a brand new one with all aftermarket parts including the body......it would be pricey though.....

Pics when I get them all on......the wheels have to be painted the Tropical Turquoise so the edge or the wheel above the hubcap matches the car color....... very cool.......

have a safe day Guru's....

Well, the dr appointment is over, but now I’m sitting in another waiting room awaiting a CT scan. Another surgery is on tap. Doc was pretty upset that his previous “fix” didn’t hold.....said he only has a 1.5 to 2% failure rate.....but I’m pretty sure he’ll be charging the insurance company for the repeat surgery. Says he’s going to have to put in a bigger mesh to cover most of the abdominal area. The surgery will be about 3 hours. The CT scan is to help guide him in his planning of the surgery. He was extremely sorry that we had to do this again and kept saying he was going to review where he failed on the last one. Trying to schedule it for after Thanksgiving, so I should be almost ‘normal’ by Christmas and be ready to get back to normal routine sometime after the first of the year.

Geez Tee....that's to bad....how sorry is he? Like a new Z06 sorry? hmmm....probably not that sorry.... I think the problem is you are swinging the golf club to hard....still trying for that 300 yard drive..... puts tremendous pressure on the core..... I slowed my drives down to about 150 yards.....no problems here......

I am sorry you have to go under the knife again..... keep us posted....

Gris, You've had the same coffee cup for TWENTY YEARS????
How the heck??

That fiddysix is sounding nice. Beautiful weather here, the sun is out again! we're astounded. We've almost forgotten what it looks like. More plants to drag in tonight and tomorrow night and/or Saturday. Will be in the 30s Saturday night then back up for mid 40-s to 50s for lows after. wish I could just leave them all out.
Can't believe the week is almost over already. Hope everyone has a good day/evening
