Slept pretty good last night, didn't want to get up when the alarm went off...but did. It's pretty dark out there. Much cooler today, low 50s and breezy, rain possible later.

I did get the pickup and Caddy washed..not a good as as I might have on another day, but they are cleaned sufficiently for now.

I have stuff to do in the shop today, so I best get to it. Have a great October 30.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA, I'LL PROBABLY PIDDLE WITH THE CARS AND PLAY WITH THE DOG, MAYBE SHOEHORN IN A NAPUS MAXIMUS :-)

The last of a string of nice days. Some rain possible the next couple of days. Then some nice weather is supposed to return for the weekend. I've been in my comfort zone for the past few days. Doing a major Fall clean-up around here now. That overlaps with some of the jobs I need to get done. Crack that whip!

It has been like summer around here. Very nice 81 and sunny today. Wished I was home. Visited the nose surgeon Thursday for a lesson in nasal arrangement and removal and replacement of the thing. Scheduled for Feb. 5.
BF did the rain dance this weekend on both vehicles , apparently it worked. Storms due tomorrow night so the whole town will Trick or Treat tonight instead. It's catching on, the surrounding three counties have jumped in on the bandwagon too.
Hope everyone is starting off to a great week.
No workie, no money they say....

Not sure why anyone would want to "lower" a Vette. It's low enough already. Alas, there's a few out there and at least one here, locally that thinks this is a good idea. This one didn't fare too well afterward.
BF just sent me these pics from work. He said "they're lucky whatever they hit ain't shoved up their a$$, it went through the floor".

Good evening gang.

Well my last day of work is tomorrow. I have accepted the position in St Charles MO. Tentative start date is the 12th. So it looks like I have alot of work to do and a short time to do it.
Next major hurdle is selling the house.

Busy day here. Started on a couple things, then moved to something else, which in turn, turned back to one of the first jobs I was working on. While cutting a plaque on the CNC, I missed a phone call from the truck driver delivering materials, but thank goodness, the guys at school covered for me, and unloaded them for me. I went up and retrieved them home to the shop. Delivered a cabinet that I modified and a bill. Thankfully he paid me as I have a credit card coming due next week.

This afternoon was just more of what I was doing this morning, then another guy I have been advising about his kitchen remodel stopped by for a little help...that ended up taking 3 hours....until 6:45pm....he'd still be here, except Rosie came out and saved me, saying supper was ready (which it was). Now that I have sat down, I'm dead tired.

Good luck with the new job, Mike....and with selling the house. How's real estate sales there these days? Is it going to be a big headache? Letty, that's scary.
