Happy Friday! Sheesh, November is over already - I wasn't done with October yet. Judging by my energy level this morning, I am pretty sure I see a nap in my future.

Have a good day, all!

I usually walk around in my underwear the first 1/2 hour to 45 minutes of the morning while I gather my wits and enjoy my first cup of coffee. Why do I write this? I don't know. Just thought I'd give you an early day mental picture that will be hard to shake.

Heading up to Bradenton today. Mom's Celebration of Life is tomorrow at noon followed by a gathering of the clan at my niece's house. My sister wants me to stay at my mom's place and go through a few things. A task I do not embrace. Sue will be with me so that will ease the burden some. I also have to bring her cats home with me when I return on Sunday. Then Sue's family is celebrating Hanukkuh at 05:00 PM Sunday. Under pressure .......

NOVEMBER? DID WE HAVE A NOVEMBER? WHERE DID IT GO?

KINDA HAZY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, WILL STORM TONIGHT THEY SAY. GUESS THAT'S THE PRICE WE PAY FOR THE UNSEASONABLY WARM SPELL WE'VE BEEN ENJOYING.

JUST HEARD FROM A HIGH SCHOOL BUDDY I THOUGHT WAS DEAD. SEEMS HIS ISP, IN THEIR INFINITE WISDOM, WAS BLOCKING MY EMAILS. WHEN I GOT NO RESPONSE AFTER MENTION OF HEALTH PROBLEMS AND TWO YEARS OF SILENCE I FIGURED HE WAS A GONER.

"We’re suddenly awash in so many crises capable of ending civilization as we know it that there’s barely enough hysteria to go around. A worldwide hysteria shortage. Who knew?"

Morning guys...slept in this morning...for an extra hour. Much cooler today. Looking for a high in the upper 40s as opposed to the mid to upper 60s the last few days.

My surgery is looming...Monday we head for Wichita for a pre-appointment, then check in 5:30am Tuseday for the, expected, three hour procedure. Because of the time length, they are making me stay overnight. Then we'll head home on Wednesday.

I have 4 cabinet doors to build today, other than that, not much planned.

I hope you all have a wonderful Friday.

I'm with Gris......you just can't UNSEE that. Ewwwww!

My eyes!

Thoughts with you Tommy for your day tomorrow in honor of your mother.

Wondering where November went and I'm still upset summer's split. Well, it's back today for a bit sort of. 70 here. At the doctor this morning, had a 'wellness' visit. Insurance mailed everyone to get one then we'd all get our $50 gift cards to use on other medical stuff like contact lenses which I happen to be needing. All good except now that I turned 50 this year we get to do the colonoscopy. Shit. Literally. This ought to be fun.
On a lighter note, cousin in the nursing home turned 83 today . Took her a couple of gifts and they were having cake and ice cream in the dining room at the nursing home when I walked in. Good timing. 80% chance of rain due here, so I planned a nap. No rain so no nap. I got stuffs to do around here anyway just still have my cold and don't want to move

Good Evening CGs!

Been hiding out for a few days. You know how that goes.

Tommy, I hope the celebration goes well tomorrow.

VB, good luck with the vehicle decision / purchase.

If anyone is interested in a pro quality Matco 1/2" ratchet I've got a killer deal going. Listed on eBay for $95 but $75 shipped for any of my guru friends. I have several available.
