BEEN MEANING TO MENTION, I FINALLY WADED THROUGH THE “SEVEN PILLARS OF WISDOM” MY RECOMMENDATION IS: DON’T BOTHER.

LAWRENCE MAY HAVE BEEN A GREAT MANIPULATOR OF ARABS BUT AS A BOOK WRITER HE WAS WORDY, REPETITIVE, SNOBBISH, AND BORING. BUT THEN, WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED FROM SOMEONE WHO SHOOTS HIS OWN CAMEL IN THE HEAD DURING A CHARGE?

Hidey-ho! The sun is making an appearance again today. The last few days have been unseasonably pleasant, and while we deserve the respite, I'm sure we will pay for it eventually.

Have a good day, all!

Hey guys... awaiting the dr to come in to take a look. Nurse said everything looks good, so, anticipating he will say the same and release me a bit. I’m going to self- impose lifting and work for a while yet, no matter what he tells me.

Well I hear him outside the door. I’ll check in later.

Guess I get to do a repeat performance on Friday. Riggin friggin sassafrasson shidilibop. Christmas party is at the house here on Monday. A slew of people expected to spend time here through the weekend. Guess I'll get this place together while I'm sleeping. WORK it. Give me something to break ........

Well, doc said about what I expected. Healing really well, I don't need to wear the brace, unless I feel like it will help me and I'm still on my limited weight lift/carry instructions for at least two more weeks and to really ease back into a 'normal' routine. I told him MY plan was to take it easy through January, before I tried to work back into 'normal' lifting/carrying routine......he liked that plan. Told me I didn't need to come back again, unless I experience problems.

We headed home after thanking him for his work, expertise and kindnesses. He is the epitome of what a doctor should be....in my opinion. Got home in time to go watch GS#3 play ball.....they lost, but got to watch him play.

It will be good to be back in my own bed tonight, the air mattress we sleep on at #3s house is OK, but two or three nights is just about the limit.

I have several small jobs to do in the shop this week.
