Up early as I'm playing taxi driver today. Streets are too nasty for Rosie to walk on, daughter still can't get out of her drive, as neither can GS#2. Hopefully the warm up will start today as predicted.

Speaking of weather, it's cold right now, 4, but they say it's going to warm up to the mid to upper 30s today. And into the 40s and then 50s by the weekend.

I've got some guys coming over today to work on a fireplace mantle. I ordered the lumber for them, but when they came by Monday to pick it up they figured out they really didn't have the tools to build it to their standards. Very capable young guys, but they understand that they can't really do it right without some tools I have. I told them I'd be happy help them out.

Well, I got to go for now.

CLOUDY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, GONNA BE ANOTHER GRAY DAY. BUMMER! THE WEATHER WIZARDS HAVE BACKED OFF THE OMINOUS FORECAST OF EVERY KIND OF EVIL WINTER PRECIPITATION, NOW JUST RAIN. THE CHEROKEES WILL SETTLE FOR THAT.

GOING TO PUT THE TOMATO IN THE SHOP THIS MORNING, NOTHING ELSE ON THE AGENDA.

VB, HOPE ARRON IS FEELING BETTER.

My pond nemesis is presenting his annual challenge. A Great Heron comes by early in the morning and late in the day seeking ways to garner a fish breakfast or dinner. I have strung lines around the perimeter. I have to go into the pond to put some shells and mini lighthouses on the fountain base to take away his remaining perch. The boat battery seems to have charged over night. Next, the test start. Did I ever mention before that I am never bored? At least the weather is cooperating.

Still cloudy and dreary here - started out the door to be hit in the face with muggy 40-degree temps. Should rain soon. yay. Long day ahead, nothing to do at the office yet here I am taking up space just in case someone calls or comes in. Supposed to be a guy here arond 10 with a bass boat, we'll see. This is the time of year people have big ideas and end up being no-shows. Boss is off in Boston for the rest of the week. Thanks for the mojo for Arron. His temp is down, feels better somewhat but still don't want food or anything to drink. Not working either today. For someone passed out on Nyquil he managed to kick, jerk, twitch and wiggle all night so I've slept about 2 hours. Hope he feels better when I get home, as it will be my turn in the bed to sleep. Onward and upward, let's get over the hump.

Cold verified. Just came in from measuring a guy's boat outside, didn't have sense enough to put my jacket on.
Feeling just now back in fingers.

I'm not fast on these streets, but i am consistent.

My boys haven't shown up yet on the mantle build.....pretty frustrating. I have been working on some other things in the shop, so that doesn't really bother me too much. I just hope they don't show up this afternoon thinking we're going to be able to finish it in one afternoon....I was figuring a couple days for it anyway.

Sunshine here.....and it looks warm but is not. Moving into the 40's this week though.... Looking forward to that I think...... 8 weeks till we are lounging on the beaches around Clearwater....looking forward to that. Will be to early for Sebring but plan on making that again in the future....

Went in and had the skin doctor cut and freeze some lesions off. Paying now for the years and years out in the weather. I'm not much at staying indoors.....when its warm..... have a fine day Guru's
