Sue is working a booth at the Coconut Grove Art Festival. It's a huge event held here in Miami annually. She has a nice spot shaded by high rise condos. As with many festivals there are vendors outside of the main theme and Sue is one of the plant vendors. Already has several landscape leads and a good day of sales. Also invite new customers who will come visit the nursery over the next few weeks. She usually does well at this show.

Last night she pitched the purchase of a property to fix up and flip. I was less than enthusiastic. I told her I really didn't want to tie up 40 hours a week for the next several months rehabbing a property. Especially since I have more than enough to keep me busy between the nursery and the home. I was trying to figure out when she would be able to help. Between 08:00 PM and midnight every day? She's working 6 1/2 days a week as it is. 12 hour+ days. She's nuts ..... but I already know that. She see's the dollar signs of flipping. I see WORK.

Have a great day everyone. Sumday will never be the same.

Morning guys...cold and sunny this morning. The weather buffoons were way off yesterday, low 40 was the prediction...upper 20s the reality. Similar prediction for today. We'll see.....

Keep Sue in check, Tommy. Your plate is pretty full as it is.

We are headed over to the 'city', then I need to get back and work on some cabinet doors......Have a great day guys.

Overcast here again today. Water still sitting everywhere as it has nowhere to go. No preacher today at the nursing home church so the guys just picked and grinned some and let us go. Cleaned her fridge out and she waited till today to pick through her Valentine basket I took her so all the 'chores' are done up there. Feeling a nap coming on today. Arron is off the next town over pulling a tranny for his lawyer friend. The house is a wreck but it's waited this long what's one more day? Just now starting to really sleep some after nose surgery. Friday night he said was first night he didn't hear me make noise, and said I appeared to sleep most of the night without moving. That was the point. Still clogged up but doc said that would take a bit to heal. possibly one more week on stitches. Have a happy afternoon everyone

Good afternoon, all.

Spending a semi-lazy afternoon watch the Daytona 500. So far, it is much better than expected.

Marcus, it is a good 8 1/2 hours driving time, according to Google Maps. With stops, could be 9 1/2 to 10...unless you want to go like I normally do, then we can do it in 7 1/2 to 8.

Cool Hat......

Came home from the 'city' and it has warmed enough to do some spraying. The client came over to 'help', so i put the spray gun in his hand and sandpaper in his wifes'. The spraying of the finish is pretty close to being done, they are coming back after while to pick up the doors.

Happy Weekend CGs!

It's cold here in Chicago. We have some snow coming down right now. We were fooled the other day because it made it up to about 46....then promptly dropped to 5 overnight.

Tommy, I agree with you about the flipping endeavor. I wouldn't want to be involved in that. Yes there is a lot of money to be made if done right and timed correctly. There is also a lot of money and time to be spent and lost if done wrong and not timed correctly.

The ribs are still tender. Slowly recovering. It's better than it was before so I guess that's a good sign. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
