Morning guys...MIA yesterday. Up early, and headed for the 'city'. Weather gurus said low 50s and breezy...only made it to mid-upper 40s and the wind was howling. Didn't make being outside putting siding on the house (where we removed one door and a window and put in a sliding patio door) much fun. Removed the island (f*#king plumbing involved) and installed the new island, finished the crown molding and loaded up all my tools as I won't be needing to go back.

Today I'll go out to the shop and put stuff away, meet with a guy to look at a little job, go up to Rosies' new office to make sure the contractor doesn't forget to do a few things before the sheetrock goes up (They were going like gangbusters on that yesterday, I guess). And I have lumber truck showing up today. Should be fun as the weather gurus are predicting 90% chance for rain off and on all day. But we are supposed to be into the mid 60s.

The warm temps we have been having the last few days, did melt off the snow...Rosie went out and spread the big piles, where, when we scooped it off the drive and sidewalks, it was piled up. And all that melted too.

Have a great day guys.

Rain just about to start here. We absolutely do not need any more of this. It all needs to be rationed out through the summer. And it's been finding it's way into our pool house. I see where and how, so now to get someone to help me fix it. Might end up being a landscaping issue, water drains from the yard in front of it, down the side and heads behind it and under the fence. Except then it has nowhere to go then back back up against the pool house and eventually finds it's way in there. All I can think of right now is some sort of pond, landscaping type thing the water can run off into when it needs to yet somehow still look nice when there's no water in it. Challenges.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Sure did enjoy the sunny weather.

Mosquitoes need a place to lay eggs too.

Not quite as busy today. It did warm up, but the wind kept the warmness down. 64 this afternoon and it was damp all day. Never really rained, just damp. Supposed to get really windy in the next several hours...like gale force through tomorrow.

Assembled 2/3 of the cabinets for my next job...that's all the room in the shop I can afford.

I met with the guy who called yesterday, discussed their want/needs for the cabinet job they want. Did the design work and got them a bid, the committee meets tonight to decide if I go with the design as given or if I need to modify them.

I'm tired again.

sump pump into the neighbor's yard and secretly into his pool - great idea!
mosquitoes - that ruined it.
however, as much brush and shrubbery and trees and fields as there are around here the skeets have plenty of places to hide and lay eggs, not sure what little pond I have would be much a difference. Besides, once rain goes away so will the water in the hole. It will remain dry for the most part - or that's the plan
