THE SUN IS SHINING ON THE CHEROKEES AND THE REST OF THE FIVE TRIBES. ALL ARE GRATEFUL.

THE WEATHER WIZARDS ARE PREDICTIN A WEEK WITHOUT RAIN, I MAY SPLURGE ON A TRUCK WASH :-) EVEN THOUGH I HAVE TROUBLE RECOGNIZING MY TRUCK IN THE PARKING LOT WHEN IT'S CLEAN.

TWO QUESTIONS FOR THE DAY:

WHY DOES "CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM" ALWAYS CONSIST OF SPRINGING CONVICTED DRUG DEALERS FROM JAIL?

WHY DO THE SAME PEOPLE WHO OPPOSE SECURING THE BORDER OPPOSE REQUIRING VOTER ID?

Least of all do voters want to hear about the most fundamental reality of economics — that what everybody wants has always added up to more than there is. Thomas Sowell

Yep sun is out here also.....but its cold. Major blizzard for the west half of the State yesterday but we got by easy. Just wind and rain here. It was a nasty day.

I slept in a bit after a long day of testing. You don't do much but it still tires you out. Got to get back to work today with meetings lined up.

Have a well thought out day Guru's......

Tried to sleep in here, haven't slept good all week, was a no-go. Was hoping for the temps of yesterday (70) but with no wind this weekend. So far the sun is out but we're about 50. Better than freezing. Hoping to get the yard junk done this weekend and the garage cleaned out some. Saw on the weather news that this out of hand flooding has affected people everywhere - a dam and nuclear power plant in Nebraska are the latest at risk, evacuations in Wisconsin and Minnesota as well. Hard rain here the other night had all our area back to the point it was recently when we had the 'great 48 hour flood'. pool liner held this time however.
Got the new leaf cover in finally, little late for this year but it'll be handy for this fall. Cheaper than I thought at 194$. Happy FriYay everyone

Crazy day here as opposed to other days that are just nuts. Working on the nursery in the back of the house that has been long neglected. Have 3 guys punching away at it. Dog went to the vet with a breathing problem came back worse after the medications were given. Had to bring the poor dog back to the vet. Can't catch it's breath. It's a Yorkie with a trachea problem. Crazy dog won't leave the poisonous toads alone which exasperates the problem. Please send dog mojo.

DEALING WITH THE MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT IS BOTH TIRING AND TIRESOME. GLAD YOU GOT A GOOD READOUT.

HAD A SNAKE-BIT ATTEMPT TO GET THE TRUCK WASHED. FIRST WENT BY THE BANK ATM TO PICK UP SOME CASH, DROPPED THE CARD BETWEEN THE SEAT AND CONSOLE. ALMOST HAD TO DISMANTLE THE TRUCK TO GET IT BACK. THEN THE ATM WOULDN'T GIVE MY CARD BACK. SEEMS IT NOW HOLDS THE CARD TILL THE TRANSACTION IS OVER. SO WHO KNEW? I WAS ABOUT TO ATTACK THE ATM---

STARTED HOME, GOT ON THE HIGHWAY AND REMEMBERED I'D COME IN TO WASH THE TRUCK. HAD TO LOOP AROUND BACK TO TOWN. AT THE CAR WASH ONE CAR WAS BEING WASHED AND ONE GUY AT THE ENTRANCE PUNCHING BUTTONS TO PAY. NO GO. MAN CAME OUT AND TOOK HIS MONEY, WENT BACK INSIDE, CAME BACK WITH CHANGE. IT WAS THEN NOTICED THAT THE CAR IN THE WASH WAS TRAPPED, BEING SPRAYED AND RESPRAYED. CARWASH WAS SHUT DOWN AND I DEPARTED IN A CLOUD OF EXPLETIVES DELETED.

I'M NOW AFRAID TO GO BACK OUTSIDE :-)

Hey guys...long day. Got up and around and went out to a little job, took about an hour. Then back to the shop to get the rest of the cabinets for the one job I am doing, loaded up the tools and went over to install them. Took almost until noon. While there, the guy I helped last weekend called and asked if I could get away to help him this afternoon replace the door out of the bedroom with the window. So, Rosie and I headed over there. Rosie dropped me off and I worked while she did the weekly shopping, then came back to get me....I wasn't quite done so she hung around and picked things up while I finished.

This evening I worked on a cut path for the undermount sinks I'm doing for Rosies' office. Picked the sinks up today while we were over to the 'city' (on the way out to help my friend). The template in the box with the sink was for the wrong sink, so I had to do the the measuring and design work myself.

I've about had it for today. Nighty night!
