(my emphasis added)

From Friday's paper:

"When preparing to unveil a product, there are some problems that are almost good to have.

Take a muscle car that is just a bit too muscular. The next-generation Corvette, the C8, was set to be unveiled soon but has run into technical issues, including an engine so powerful that it actually warped the car’s frame.

The need to go back to the drawing board for the much-anticipated model was frustrating for Corvette fans, but—assuming the modifications are to the frame and not the engine—this may be the sort of advertising money can’t buy."

I'm hearing it's around a 1,000 hp engine...... hope they weren't using a lot of balsa wood in the car....... they never had that problem with a C6 or 7 frame.....and they have the engines in front like the Good Lord intended.....

IMHO, 1,000 HORSEPOWER ENGINES IN AUTOMOBILES HAVE ALL THE UTILITY OF MAMMARY GLANDS ON MALE SWINE ;-)

Pretty impressive, albeit excessive. It was my understanding that was a twin turbo model which you won't see too many of if you ask me.
