AND IN CLOUD-CUCKOO LAND ANOTHER "STUDY" FINDS THE SKY IS FALLING:

About 4,300 premature deaths occur each year in the United States due to environmental damage brought on by corn production.

Morning guys...pretty chilly and breezy this morning. Supposed to warm into the low 60s. Yesterday turned out pretty nice, so hopefully, today will too.

Building some cabinet doors for my neighbor. Other than that, not much planned.

Damnation..... I always wondered what happens to those guys that walk out in a corn field and never come back out..... now we know.... What I really want to know is who is counting those things and how and why? I always thought corn was our friend.....

Rained again last night......cold out today......Big Farm continues to be backed up like a big log jam..... Lord help us when it busts out.... rain all day tomorrow also......

Meanwhile I got the Silver Bullet out yesterday and went down to my favorite repair shop and rented some time on the front end rack that has a pit under it. Got the oil changed in baby and did some under car inspection.... then took it out for a drive.... the car is very comfortable for me to sit in and I have gone long 700 miles plus days in it with out any discomfort. So it is locked and loaded for the coming season.....

Stay thirsty Guru's......

Now there is some fake news ...... all of that is totally made up.... so the guy sits down and creates fiction and then prints it..... Now is farming dangerous? Yes very dangerous..... anhydrous ammonia is lethal and I do think we will see the end of that usage in the next decade or two.... lot of farmers are switching to liquid Nitrogen but it cost about .10 cents more a lb of N then the ammonia. So most will go for the cheap stuff.

Also corn and plants in general use tons of C02 to thrive and when there is corn fields for thousands of miles in every direction...it is not harming the environment it is using CO2 in huge amounts..... which does not really matter anyway. If we could get our CO2 percentage up to 1% we would be seeing 400 bushel corn all the time. So atmospheric CO2 is a good thing..... just thought you should know.......

Just curious, how many deaths occur each year due to not eating?

Good Afternoon CGs!

Kids are off school again today due to local elections. Had to help RR#1 with a school project that involved cutting boxes and using the hot glue gun. I don't do their projects for them, but they aren't allowed to use certain tools. Not at this point.

Weather is still cool. Waiting for spring.

Hope everyone has a great day!

How much of a return did 50 cent get on the sale of his mansion? Way less than fiddy cent on the dollar.

Up at 05:45 and out the door t 06:30. got home at 02:00. 7 hours of that company time. I earned a nap. Have to pick up Sue's 911 later today and pick up the S-10 from another shop. I picked up Sue's 2005 Silverado this A.M. and left the S-10 behind. Sue's truck went through a breakdown phase. Waterpump in Friday. Batteries and starter on Monday. I asked her if she wanted to get a new truck. She said, "Nope". I told her she has to expect to replace some parts then. 202000 miles. Runs great.

Stayed cool all day, sun didn't stay out and the breeze never let up. I got some things done in the shop, more to do tomorrow. Rosie made it to the "Little Apple". Had to go up to her new office to let a contractor in and explain what was happening there.

007 is ready to go, Marcus. No, no modifications this year.
