WAS CLEAR WHEN I GOT UP, CLOUDING UP NOW, FIXING TO RAIN. OH JOY.

THE VAMPIRE DID WELL YESTERDAY, GOT BLOOD ON THE FIRST STICK. HAVE TO DO THIS EVERY YEAR AS CHOLESTEROL DRUG I TAKE CAN CAUSE LIVER DAMAGE. HAVING TAKEN IT FOR 20 YEARS AND MORE WITH NO ILL EFFECTS IT'S MORE A MATTER OF ANY OTHER RED FLAGS.

HAD RIBEYES AT THE WHEELHOUSE YESTERDAY EVENING. LOCAL BEEF, GOOD STEAK BUT I DIDN'T LIKE WHAT THEY DID TO IT, HEAVILY MARINATED AND SEARED. IF THE MEAT IS GOOD SUCH TRICKS ARE UNNEEDED. THE PROPRIETRESS WAS THERE DISPENSING SMILES AND HUGS, SHE IS A FAVORITE OF MINE :-)

TODAY'S AGENDA: SIT INSIDE, WATCH IT RAIN, NAPUS MINIMUS X 2 OR NAPUS MAXIMUS AS APPROPRIATE.

LIFE IS GOOD, EVEN WHEN IT RAINS.

My blood pressure meds are mixed with a cholesterol lowering drug. I too go for an annual blood test that I use to gauge my general health condition. 10 years now and my bp has been under control with normal cholesterol readings. Borderline on blood sugar at just over 100. My heart doc that I got after my brother dropped dead at 44 from a heart attack, told me I could go off the meds and would probably be fine or as he does, continue the meds as my body tolerates it. Rolling right along. Living one day at a time, a month at a time, a year at a time. So far they're all adding up.

Big pharmaceutical meds scare me. They’re designed to cause other issues to have us rely on them to need further meds and eventually population control. Far fetched maybe but it’s my feeling. So far with all my “welcome to 50” testing my all my docs I’m clean as a pin besides weight. Once my sleeping improves hopefully my energy levels will do and that will resolve itself. Friend of mine couldn’t take how his heart meds and cholesterol stuff made his gut feel after a stent so he got on the whole 30 diet and some COQ-10 and fish oil and quit his meds. Doc freaked but he’s got normal numbers.,doc still freakin but can’t argue with science.
Happy birthday Marcus sorry I missed the festivities. I was lazy yesterday.
In other news: if that ain’t county I’ll kiss yer ass:

Hey folks...slept in a bit, ate a little breakfast, then drove over to see #3. They all went outside to do yard work.

I’m thinking, a nap may be in order. Headed to the “K” about 3:30 to meet up with nephew and the rest who will be in the dugout suite for tonight’s game. A little chilly for baseball, but will be protected in the dugout. All the food and beverages we want. Hopefully the ball game will be a good one.

Good afternoon, all.

A day for errands and work around the house.
