SEMI-SUNNY AND RATHER COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. IT'S NOT RAINING---YET.

GOT A NEW CAT VISITING THE BARN, THAT MAKES THREE ITINERANT BARN CATS FREELOADING. THE MORE THE MERRIER FOR ME, MAYBE NOT FOR THE MICE.

MAXIMUM SECURITY WON THE DERBY BY A SUBSTANTIAL MARGIN, BUT IN CLOUD-CUCKOO LAND IT DOESN’T MATTER WHO CROSSES THE FINISH LINE FIRST, BUREAUCRATS DECIDE THE WINNER. AND NOW THE LAWYERS GET RICHER---

MORE COMPLICATIONS IN FAYETTEVILLE, NEW CHEMO REGIMEN HAS KNOCKED SON FOR A LOOP, THE OTHER GRANDMA FELL, HIT HER HEAD, AND IS IN THE HOSPITAL, DIL IS IN A PANIC. THERE ARE KIDS OLD ENOUGH TO STEP IN AND TAKE UP THE SLACK, BUT THAT NEVER SEEMS TO OCCUR TO HER. EXPLETIVE DELETED.

Sorry to hear of the family travails Gris..... f'n chemo..... prayers sent....

Went north to a family graduation yesterday and took the Grand Sport....had my millennial #2 daughter ride along.....we had a nice chat. I explained capitalism to her and that nobody owes you anything.....I think we made some real progress......she seemed quite amazed.....

Had a bearing go out on Lynn's Tahoe....while she was up at the party....she had gone up a day earlier to help with her mother....and I was amazed to find the Chevy Garage was open till 5 pm on a Saturday and was happy to squeeze us in and get her back on the road..... they had the car done by 3 pm...... I was so glad I did not even mind paying the 600 clams to get it fixed.......

Then it rained and I drove the GS home in the rain..... it gets a bit interesting in the rain grooves every now and then with those fat tires..... nothing scary just feel the car being pushed around a bit.....

Ok now I feel a midmorning nap coming on......... have a nice day!

Good Morning CGs!

Beautiful day here with no rain. Took the dog for a walk this morning and then I had some lunch. Getting ready for a workout now. We have another first communion party to attend this afternoon. Tis the season.

Marcus, I'm glad that the issue with the Tahoe was relatively minor. And good job on the explanation of capitalism. I try to teach my kids that everyday. They still don't understand why they have to do chores...

TB, have a safe trip to visit your father-in-law. Hope he's feeling better.

Gris, hope things turn around for your family, as well.

Is Tommy back yet? I'm not sure how long the last cruise was.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Well, good day gurus! We got up and around around ‘normal’ time. We had a leisurely breakfast, then I backed the Caddy out and dropped 007 down. Got here to FILs place a little before noon. It was a beautiful day for the drive down.

Dad is still feeling not 100%. He and Rosie are on a short walk, then we we’ll head down “round the Bend” for the First Communion here in a little bit. It’s a 20 minute drive so we’ll leave a little early to get there on time.

Was it a wheel bearing Marcus? I thought you had those replaced already..... ?? Prayers sent for the family Gris. Yes, it is the season, Matt.

OH YEAH, I GOT CAUGHT IN A RAIN STORM WITH THE '87 ONCE. WITH WATER STANDING ON THE ROAD 55 MPH WAS TOP SPEED BEFORE IT STARTED GETTING SQUIRRELY. CHEROKEES SAY LIGHT WEIGHT, FAT TIRES NOT GOOD IN WATER.

THE SUN IS SHINING AND A CALM 73 DEGREES. SON IS FEELING BETTER, AND HIS MIL IS OK AND GETTING OUT OF THE HOSPITAL.
ALL IS WELL WITH THE WORLD :-)

Good evening gang.

Prayers for the family Gris. Glad the car is fixed Marcus.

Well we didn't stay dry. The levy broke and the campground started flooding. Not the way we wanted to wake up. Well we got all packed up and moved. Been a busy day. Looking forward to a good night sleep.

Good night gurus.
