Howdy howdy howdy how .......

Memorial Day weekend launches summertime activities in many states around the nation but in Florida there is nothing to launch. There are always summertime activities going on in Florida. We have had the pleasure of a HIGH lying over us giving us hot days, cool nights and moderate humidity with no rain. Means you'd better get some outdoor stuff done because we know what's coming down here. Hot and humid with daily thunderstorms and plenty of accompanying lightning. Sometimes the storms are boosted with high winds. Time to get motivated ..... I have stuff to do good weather or not.


Oh ya .... Sue asked me what my plans were for Monday. I told her I don't make any plans anymore. She's going to work .....

Morning guys... getting ready to head out to the car show. It is partly cloudy but reasonably warm (60) and headed to the low 80s. I'm betting it rains on us before it's done.

Got to go for now.

SUNNY, COOL, AND WET IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. THE ARKANSAS RIVER IS 17 FOOT ABOVE FLOOD. SEVERAL TOWNS BESIDES FT GIBSON ARE WITHOUT ELECTRICITY. THINGS ARE A MESS IN OKLAHOMA.

GOOD THING I GOT THE WEEDS CUT; GOT ANOTHER HALF INCH OF RAIN LAST NIGHT. I'LL BE GOING TO PICKUP #2 GRANDDAUGHTER THIS MORNING, TAKING THE BUMBLEBEE FOR A NICE DRIVE THRU THE HILLS.

DARLING WIFE IN HER USUAL LAST MINUTE FRENZY OVER THE KIDS. I WILL ENDEAVOR TO PERSEVERE---

Yeah we had our one sunny day a month yesterday.....no we are back to cloudy and probably some rain.....

I am going to be working around the acreage this weekend.... lots of stuff to do.... how do I know that? My wife has a list.... a long list.... and she is checking it twice.....

Turned out to be a near perfect day for our "Run, Drive & Fly" event. Had to stunt pilots as well as a WWII era military C-45. As I couldn't resist, I arranged to take some pictures with it. 007 looks pretty good along side of the C-45.

THERE AND BACK AGAIN---HAD A VERY NICE DRIVE THRU THE HILLS, DIDN'T HAVE TO FOLLOW TOO MANY SLOWPOKES, AT LEAST NOT VERY FAR. DIL MET ME AT WESTVILLE FOR THE KINDER HANDOFF, SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY TO FAYETTEVILLE. THE BUMBLEBEE RAN LIKE A TOP.

ALL THE MUNCHKINS ARE HERE, RUNNING ALL OVER THE HOUSE LIKE ATTILA'S HUNS, ONLY MORE NOISY :-) BRAVECAT HAS GONE INTO HIDING; IF I KNEW WHERE I MIGHT JOIN HER---
