Morning guys...Cloudy, cool and damp this morning. Low 40s and only going to be mid 60s here...not your typical June day.

Not much on the agenda today...maybe a trip to the 'city'.

Rained again last night......1.25"....... so this is what it's like living in Iowa....... I drove the big rigs all day yesterday hauling liquid fertilizer to farmers..... it was kinda fun until about 2 pm then it got to be real work after that.

I also will DNBFS today...... will attend church on the big screen since we can get our services on Hulu now. I am going to need some naps........

Have a day of thoughtful consideration Guru's.......

Looking at a comfortable 102 today. Little hotter in the week. In about an hour when step mom takes her nap I will head to the trap range for a couple hours of practice. California state trap championship is coming up 17-24 I think of this month

Dreary day. Trying to work on the bathroom gathering materials. Sue has hand surgery tomorrow. Have to get up at the glorious hour of 03:45 AM and be at the surgical unit at 05:30 for check in and prep. Tomorrow will be a long day.

YOU MAKE ME FEEL BAD; I HAVEN'T FIRED A SHOTGUN SINCE DOVE SEASON, EXCEPT TO TAKE OUT A SQUIRREL MESSING WITH MY BIRD FEEDERS. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME CLUB EVENTS, BUT THERE ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE SOME FAMILY STUFF AT THE SAME TIME.

TOMMY: BEST WISHES FOR SUE.

Went to HD to pick up some lumber. On my list were 4 2"x 8"x 12' pressure treated. Went to check out and that wood came up as 1 cent. I said to the cashier "Ya, that much too low. I'd be willing to give you 2 cents." She called for the manager and I told the cashier I was going to pull my truck up. When I came back the manager had told her go ahead and give them to him for that price. That was like getting 15% discount on my total bill. I'll take it. Thanks.

Here are a few pics of my starting point. As I mentioned earlier I'm going to incorporate what's there into the total project. The poles will be my corner posts. It's going to be a field bathroom and storage area. Cold water sink, composting toilet, possibly a urinal and a wall separating a small storage space. Roughly 10' x 12'.

Ivelis and I send our best to Sue—I had hand surgery a couple of years ago, which went well.

Gorgeous today in the Philadelphia area—more like a good mid-May day than early June.

I ran decently this morning, which is good because I have a competitive 5k coming up on Thursday evening. Afterward, I took the parents to and from church.

Ivelis made our first caprese salad of the summer, as the tomatoes are starting to look and taste good. Next, we took the 2003 out for some errands related to various life events: gifts for a baby shower, a graduation card, and a get well card. Grace is back to driving beautifully, and days like these are meant for her.

Finally, we went for a three-mile walk at one of the local college campuses. Now back at home, getting ready for another work week.

Good Evening CGs!

Warm and muggy here. Took the kids to see the new Aladdin movie along with Grandma. They enjoyed it.

Tommy, good score on the wood there. Good luck to Sue with the surgery.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Well, late this afternoon the clouds went away and the sun came out and warmed up a little bit (73). But the wind continued to blow.

Sweet gun there, Steve. Tommy, I don't run across those kind of deals very often, but when I do I feel like "it's about time". And I hope Sue comes through the surgery alright.
