Good morning, all.

Hot and sticky in the Philadelphia area—but July is almost over.

28 pictures, Gris.

YOU'RE ON A ROLL JOHN!

STICKY HERE TOO, 80 DEGREES AND OVERCAST WHEN I GOT UP, 78 AND SPRINKLING RAIN NOW.

CROWD ONLY FAIR AT THE SHOW YESTERDAY, I MADE AN OFFER ON THAT 1895 WINCHESTER, GOT A SEMI-REASONABLE COUNTER, BUT GOT COLD FEET. THE BORE WAS QUESTIONABLE, MIGHT CLEAN UP MIGHT NOT.
SO IT WAS ONE OF THOSE RARE SHOWS WHERE I SOLD NOTHING AND BOUGHT NOTHING. SAM DID A GOOD BIT OF TRADING AND BOUGHT AN 1873 WINCHESTER RIFLE. I THINK HE MAY HAVE PAID TOO MUCH FOR IT, IT LOOKS PRETTY POOR.

AUTO ROTATION DAY, I'LL WAIT TILL IT QUITS RAINING---

July is almost over in Florida too. Only 3-4 months of torrid weather to go till my favorite time of year, a Florida winter. Went to a family breakfast yesterday. What I didn't eat for breakfast I ate for dinner. Bacon and cheese omelette. A local eatery called Havana Harry's serves huge portions. I can only eat half.

Went to my cardiologist who read me the results of a Cardiac MRI and calcium score. I went in thinking it would not be that bad. It was worse than I thought. Matter of fact it put me in the lowest 5%. 95% of those tested for my age had a better reading. I have a lot of plaque in my arteries even though I've been on medication for over decade. Med changes, diet changes and other stuff prescribed. Oddly, I eat pretty healthy and the foods that were recommended are already part of my diet. I'm physically active too. Sucks .......

I'm sorry to hear that Tommy...... time to get serious about diet and all that....... Tom Osborne the legendary coach of the Huskers who had a triple bypass when he was fairly young, said if it tasted good you basically can't eat it........ wow........

praying your scores get better by the time you get your next checkup....

A friend of mine just told me to shop the outside isles of the grocery store and stay out of the middle. lol. I have been serious about my health for the most part. Just could never kick those evil weeds. We'll see how it all washes out one day at a time. I see that dairy is on the bad list. We'll see what the Nuclear stress test comes up with and move on from there. Luckily we're working on it before a major incident. Never thought I would make it to 80 but no harm in trying.
