Feeling for the people trapped in the eye of a hurricane that's moving a a lowly 1 mph. That's a brutal assault. Anybody caught in it must be terrified.

It's interesting how your thoughts shift in a time of crisis. What was important before becomes unimportant but once the threat has passed the unimportant becomes important again. Just goes to show the games the mind is capable of concocting to keep it occupied.

Yeah 1 mph is like time stopped for those unfortunate folks. Just hope it does turn north and not just slam into the Sunshine State....

Waiting for the grass to dry some to go out and mow.... sunny and pleasant here today..... in the 70's.... a bit humid.... have a meaningful day Guru's

I'm south of the activity. Breezy, gray and some rain is about all we'll have as long as the hurricane goes as predicted. We all believe what the weather people tell us, right?

Hey guys.... we were up early, like I was awake at 5am. Got up and around, and left NW Arkansas at 6:40 after getting the VRBO cleaned up and stuff loaded. I think it was a good thing we weren't staying today as the humidity was horrendous we we left and it was mid 60s. Fog was thick anywhere around the lake or rivers. As we got away from all that, it turned pretty good...visibility wise. Traffic wasn't bad, except fr around Wichita. 9 hours later we were home.

I got the car unloaded, my bag unpacked and then went out and washed the bugs off the Caddy. I've even slipped in a bit of a nap. And still my butt is dragging.
