CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING CHANCE OF MORE RAIN. YESTERDAY WAS A SCHIZOPHRENIC WEATHER DAY, RAIN, THEN SUN, THEN CLOUDS, THEN SUN, AND THEN MORE CLOUDS.

OKLAHOMA WEATHER :-)

NOTHING MAJOR ON THE AGENDA, NEED TO CLEAN OUT THE RAIN GAGE, SORT OUT SOME OLD CLOTHES TO GIVE AWAY. THE LEAVES ARE STARTING TO FALL, MAYBE THIS CRAZY SUMMER IS ENDING.

I fixt the date GRIS.

More stuff to do than I have time for. Need to play catch up today and tomorrow. Plumber is supposed to start next week and Sue wants the antique window installed before he comes. The window frame is 10" wide so I have some creative applications to apply. I'm going to set it on a 6' 2 x 10 mounted across a sturdy, thick aluminum L beam. I had a piece of aluminum just lying around. One of those pieces I had lying around just in case I needed it one day. The day has come. We have the sink, shower, toilet, water pump and pressure tank sitting ready out back. I have to remember to tell the plumber to add a hose spigot.

I can hardly wait...... can you take a vid so we can watch the paint dry? that's fun for us out here in flyover country......

I'm doing the floors today and mowing then the Huskers play tonight at 7 pm...... I got a full day scheduled....

Tomorrow 2 birthdays on tap. My #2 daughter turns 29 and my Grand Sport turns 10 years old. Hard to believe.....on both counts.

Grand Sport build date is 9/22/09 and was #1832 of 12,194 built for the 2010 model year. In 09 they built 16,956 and in 08 a whopping 35,310 Corvettes were built. The Great Recession took it's toll.......

Keep your powder dry Guru's........ they be coming to collect our guns.........

BSGS is 10? That probably deserves a wash job...you know, a "Hand job".

Busy day for me, not much accomplished, but busy all day. Slept in a bit, then out to the shop to attach the top to the cabinet....DONE. Make out the bill and a little paperwork. Then over to the 'city' for weekly groceries. Met up with #1GS and took him out for brunch. By the time we got home, it was getting close to church time....just enough time wash the Caddy in prep for the trip to the mountains later in the week.

#1GS and his s/o are headed up to NE so they can get some things from her family for their apartment. They have to drive up there (about 3 hours, as I understand), load up the stuff into her dads' SUV drive back, then take the SUV back and then drive home....I'm thinking, "that's stupid", so I volunteered to take them up in the pickup, load it up and head back, saving them a second trip. This would be Tuesday. They are to let me know tomorrow, would be crazy not to take me up on the offer.

Was supposed to be cooler today...didn't happen, low 90s again. Rosie has been checking the weather for our place in CO, upper 60s to low 70s for highs and mid 30s to low 40s for the lows. I'm looking forward to that.
