Like I read recently when one old timer said "When I wake and feel the pain I know I'm still alive."

Pressure washed the front walk and deck yesterday. Think I'll pressure wash the area around the tortoise pen today. Tasks waiting include caulking and painting the new bathroom, major pre-winter/fall yard clean up and mulching, wash the carport canvas, wash all the cars and other stuff with lower priorities. I see lots of cleaning up in my future. You have to keep moving. Keep the blood flowing. Loosen up the joints. And if none of that is possible then maybe smoke a couple of joints. lol I'm working at a slower pace now since I finished most of the heavy lifting in the back bathroom. Shower , toilet and sink are all up and running. On demand hot water heater is plumbed and wired. Just need to make the connection at the box. Electric switches, outlets and boxes are up for the ceiling fan/light and storage room light. Just have to get the fan and light I want. Once I get moving the back feels better. It's sitting around that really is of little benefit. Up, up and away.

Hey guys... Been a busy day.

Tommy, Yeah, I said that, and do those things, and that's how I know we don't recover as fast.

Started out chilly again, 35 but recovered to hit 87 this afternoon, 52 degree turn around.

Didn't quite get all the gun case done, still have to mount hinges and get a piece of glass for the door. I had a lady text me a little after 1 this afternoon, asking if I was still planning on coming over to finish up a job I started a couple months ago, but had to wait until she had some things done...anyway she emailed me last week and I told her I'd come over today to finish....and I forgot. So, I told her I'd be right over and finished her project for her. Then father had sent me a text asking me to come by when I had a "few minutes".

So I went over to see what he had going...and to make a long story, not so long, I had to 'gut' a safe.....not such an easy job. By gutting, I had to remove a shelf and a divider.... they were put in there to stay. Three and half hours later job accomplished.

Got home and fired up the Pit Boss and cooked some fish fillets that our neighbor caught and gave to us. A hint of smokey flavor and absolutely one of the best fish fillets we've ever eaten. Lovin' the Pit Boss.
