Happy Veterans Day to all of our vets out there.

We are supposed to get 3-6" of snow overnight Sunday into Monday. I guess when I wake up I'll find out how accurate they are.

If the snow sticks around I guess it's time to swap my winter wheels, as well. Just like John I run a 1" smaller diameter rim on the Accord. The benefit is a larger sidewall that protects against potholes. It also protects the wallet a little more as smaller tires are generally less $$$. John - the blizzaks are good tires. I ran them on my previous car.

Don't have to worry about winter tires on the Corvette...she's all tucked away for the season.

One of the nice things about Florida is that winter tires are the same as summer tires.

Start the day with a stint at the nursery for few hours with a new office worker. Young, petite, and has no nursery experience. Sue says she's very bright and picks up things fast. Only time will tell. Sue has a doctor's appointment so I'll sit in. Maybe this afternoon I can get something done around the house.

Morning guys... I'm up and ready to head northwest. The cold front moved through last night, dropping temps like a sledge hammer and the wind blowing hard. 17 now and 30mph winds make it feel like ....well, you don't want to be out in it.

IT'S RAINING ON EVERYBODY'S PARADE IN THE NATIONS.

Occasional rain before noon, then a chance of rain, snow, and freezing rain between noon and 3pm, then a slight chance of snow after 3pm. Temperature falling to around 31 by 4pm. Breezy, with a north wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

LOOKS TO ME LIKE AN "INDOOR DAY" FO' SHO'. GUESS I'LL GET EVERYTHING CLEANED UP AND PUT AWAY FROM THE GUNSHOW. I'M WORRIED ABOUT MY GUNSHOW BUDDY SAM, HIS HEALTH IS DETERIORATING.

THE WANENMACHER SHOW ITSELF MAY BE DETERIORATING. THERE DID NOT SEEM TO BE AS MANY EXHIBITORS AS IN THE PAST AND THEY HAD A SET UP THAT GAVE MORE SPACE TO THE ISLES THEN TO THE EXHIBITORS. IT SEEMS A BIT OMINOUS TO ME; THEY HAVE IN THE PAST BRAGGED THEY WOULD KEEP INCREASING TABLE PRICES UNTIL PEOPLE QUIT PAYING.

HUBRIS IS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY NEMESIS.

Ya...the other shoe dropped here also..... after being 72 on Saturday and 40's yesterday it was like 15 degrees this morning and snowing.... oh yeah and did I mention the wind is blowing also..... geez....

We don't believe in snow tires out here..... In 4 wheel drive we trust....

Sorry about the shrinking gun shows Gris..... everyone must be bought up..... I know it's like a war wagon around our place..... got guns everywhere..... I still see a couple I would like to have though.... my problem is its getting hard to find places to shoot them......

We had 8" of snow yesterday morning and then it was -11º last night. I guess winter is here for a while, although it is suppose to be in the mid 40s by the end of the week. I hope you all have a great week.
