Good Morning CGs!

Tommy, did you hear what happened to the Nebraska State Police? Apparently someone stole all of the mufflers off of their squad cars. I'm told they searched for the offenders until they were exhausted.

We weren't sure what we were doing for Thanksgiving. Then Sue's cousin Benny and his wife, Debbie stepped up and said they were having Thanksgiving dinner at their house and extended an invitation to the family. So we'll ride north an hour and a half. Sue will prep a few dishes to take along though they said they didn't need anything. Next month for Christmas Day we will be hosting our annual Christica/Hanamas party. Christmas, Hanukkah and agnostic
participants are all invited. That's the motivation for the yard clean up and try to finish prepping and painting the back bathroom (which I haven't touched in about 2 weeks.) Picking up a load of mulch from the nursery at 08:30. 2 or 3 loads left to spread. We'll see.

ACTUALLY I'D RATHER NOT GO.

IT'S A GLOOMY, DAMP MORNING IN THE NATIONS, BUT IT'S SUPPOSED TO CLEAR OFF. THE WEATHER SHOULD IMPROVE AS WE GO SOUTH.

Good afternoon, all.

Ivelis and I have just returned from a six day, 2,398 mile Southern Gallivant in Louis. The highlights:

Snead's 1912 Steak, Hot Springs, VA

Omni Homestead, Hot Springs, VA

Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg, TN

Ole Smokey Distillery, Gatlinburg, TN

Graceland, Memphis, TN

Peabody Hotel, Memphis, TN

STK Atlanta, Atlanta, GA

Atlanta Botanical Garden Garden Lights, Holiday Lights, Atlanta, GA

Dale Jr's Whiskey River, Charlotte, NC

USS Wisconsin (BB-64), Norfolk, VA

Byrd and Baldwin Bros. Steakhouse, Norfolk, VA

Louis, as usual, performed magnificently—and averaged 26.2 mpg.

Hey guys... Another day another...day donated to the cause. I went over and put up the crown molding and the toe kick under the cabinets. Then went over to a good friends' Moms' 90th birthday party. She's one of "my little ole ladies" that I take care of her computer and TV. Went to church after that. Tonight we have #3s daughters, #2 and #2 GS here for Chicken and noodles. We have #3s kids while they went to Colorado to Celebrate #3 SIL 40th bday. They will be back Wednesday, just in time for T-giving. He will help me with the smoking of the bird Thursday morning.

Safe travels to Gris. Tommy you'd better get things fixed up in time for Christica/Hanamas. Marcus, you'd better get that stuff done, I know Mrs Uwoman will have your.... hanging on a nail if you don't. That freaking Tesla is alm ost as ugly as the Aztek. John that is a nice trip.

I hope all of you had a great Saturday. It was a cold start, but turned out a beautiful day, 59 as the high. more of the same for tomorrow.

Why do detectives look to a Will when searching for murder suspects?
Because a Will is a dead giveaway.

Nice trip John, would love to do something similar. Been to Gatlinburg as me and some others from another forum had a meet up one weekend. Beautiful. Graceland was nice too, and only 45 mins from me.
Safe travels Gris. Foot coming along after a mishap or two. Tried to pull off boot and whole dressing cane off. Rewrap at 3am. Try to use restroom next night and so out of it put it on the wrong foot to hobble to toilet. Walking good today, grocery shopped, traveled to Batesville for a cool toy then on to bald knob for my Cajun dinner fix then to Jonesboro for something I needed at a couple of stores then home to Trumann. I enjoyed being out and it lifted my spirits. Headed to nursing home tomorrow for my first solo outing in 10 days.
