SEMI-SUNNY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. THE CHEROKEES ARE RECOVERING.
YESTERDAY DARLING WIFE DECIDED WE MUST TAKE CHRISTMAS DINNER TO BABY DAUGHTER AND FAMILY IN OKC. NO BIG DEAL BUT FIVE HOURS ROUND TRIP WINDSHIELD TIME. #8 GRANDSON IS OVER THE WORST OF THE FLU, HE WAS ACTING NORMAL WHEN WE GOT THERE BUT RAN DOWN QUICK, NOT HIS USUAL PERPETUAL MOTION AND NON STOP GRIN. THE KIDS GOT ME REAR WHEEL A-MOLDS FOR THE TOMATO. I ALREADY HAD THE FRONTS. GOT TO SEE ABOUT GETTING THE TIRES REMOUNTED, BALANCED, ECT. "FAST AWAY THE OLD YEAR PASSES---" |

the girls are all giddy about getting into town and slapping their new gift card plastic on the counter...... its like there is a time limit on how long those are good for....... I will stay home with our small herd of Yorkies of which I will feed into a coma so they sleep all day and then may do that for myself also..... tis the season for food coma's....... Hey folks... didn’t sleep in this morning, well, got up late, but had a period of time last night where I didn’t sleep, so the hours slept were about the same.
Weather has done an about-face from yesterday. Almost 70 yesterday, today it is barely to the freezing mark, cloudy and damp. I’m ready to go home and sleep in my own bed tonight, not sure if that is going to happen or not. There is some nasty stuff supposedly moving in tonight from the southwest, exactly where we are headed.... I’d like to be ahead of the storm and be home tonight. Some rough times ahead for you John in the next few days, my prayers are still with you. Have a great day. |

Nice and warm here, bout 71 and intermittent clouds. Rain rolling in later they say and getting cooler. Was hoping it would hold out for a nice weekend like last couple days but it is what it is.
