SEMI-CLEAR AND COOL AT PRESENT, SUPPOSED TO BE SUNNY LATER. THE CHEROKEES ARE ALL FOR THAT, EVEN IF IT GETS WINDY.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY, DARLING WIFE DUE HOME THIS EVENING---MUST BE SURE TO LEAVE ENOUGH MESS FOR HER TO HAVE SOMETHING TO FUSS ABOUT :-)

AFTER THE ROADS DRY OFF I'LL HEAD OUT FOR BREAKFAST. WHEELHOUSE OR BOOMERANG, THAT IS THE QUESTION. OR THERE'S ALWAYS IHOP IF I WANT TO DRIVE TO THE OTHER SIDE OF MUSKOGEE.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS---

better go to the wheelhouse since they is on the way out Gris....

Full sunshine here today..... hope it melts the snow... got nothing on the agenda but the floors need cleaning..... so I guess I will work away at that..... the Tahoe is a dirty mess but might as well leave it until the streets dry off someday.....

The Honda 250 project is rolling along.... seems like everyday we find we need some part or another ..... so eBay has been my source and a good one too. Some parts are expensive if they are hard to find.... I saw a brand new OEM seat listed still in its original box from Honda.... $1,750 hard earned dollars....... I was glad the original seat I have is fine..... hope to have it ready to ride by spring......

Got the new hi tech front A arms for the 56. will be getting those installed this winter. lets you get more camber dialed in so it drives better down the road. New Auto Sound 300 watt radio set up is sitting on the shelf to be installed also this winter and the new 16" Bel Air steering wheel is being painted as we speak in India Ivory....the center part will be the Tropical Turquoise of the rest of the car.... it will replace the old original 18" wheel that is cracked and looks bad.

I got lots to do in the shop and I like it........ have a fun one Guru's...

A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship.
The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:
From bondage to spiritual faith;
From spiritual faith to great courage;
From courage to liberty;
From liberty to abundance;
From abundance to complacency;
From complacency to apathy;
From apathy to dependence;
From dependence back into bondage.

First part of that quote was by Elmer T. Peterson in the Daily Oklahoman in 1951. Henning W. Prentis Jr. wrote the From Bondage part in 1943.
It or parts of the first quote has been attributed to Ben Franklin and others............ Google is my friend.....

Fog here we sent the rain your way.
My granddaughter is coming over to learn how to install a fuel pump in my 87 Corvette. She is taking classes to become an automotive mechanic . She and other students from her class will be here. I will have them diagnose the starting problem first should be fun to watch

Hey guys...slept in again, then went out to the shop to finish the one project. That took about 30 minutes. Then we changed clothes and headed over to the 'city' to attend a Kansas Honor Flight fundraiser. then run back home to attend the presentation of the medals (the medal case I built a couple weeks back) for the Korean Vet (and father of a good friend). He was really surprised. Had an Adjutant General here from Topeka, a Colonel and another NCO to do the presentation ..... quite moving, he didn't suspect a thing until about 2 minutes before it happened. There were 28 other Vets there and probably 100 other people to see this very honorable presentation.
