… since Lauren arrived. I took her out for a short drive this morning in the cold but clear air. A picture taken this morning is below.

It was an interesting year for Lauren, with the major highlights being her inclusion in the NCRS Gallery XIX at Corvettes at Carlisle and the fact that I put her up for sale in November.

Nibbles, but nothing serious. The next step would be to put her on Bring A Trailer, but now Ivelis is hinting that I should keep her …

I remember back when you were working on her in the olden days. Hard to believe I've had my 90 almost 17 years now. Started lurking in Corvette Forum back in 2002 reading on selecting a Corvette. Ended up with my white Z51 6 speed that I paid 8k for cash. It still runs, 142,000 miles and doesn't burn a drop of oil. Really, I wouldn't be afraid to take it on a road trip.

142k is up there for a C4—not the most, but way to the right of the bell curve. Original powertrain?

When I bought it it had 126k on it. Original power train and she runs smooth and strong. Equates to around 1000 miles a year since I had it.

My 92 had 220k on it when I sold it 3 years ago...

The engine was swapped at 185k. The thing is, the engine was ok, really, but the optispark was giving me issue and wanted to update to the Gen 2...
