another good reason not to leave the house..... we stopped at Costco yesterday and the hoarders were lined up for a block..... I'm glad we were not there while they were unloading the toilet paper truck....the savagery of people trying to get their share would have been epic....

Luckily we live in the country and just have to go out and pick up more corn cobs if we run out of paper.....

got to go get parts today and do some work and then I feel a nap coming on...... no bad weather here yet......

Stay healthy Guru's.....

Morning guys.... the panic has hit the breadbasket of America. Yesterday, a death from Covid19, in far Eastern Kansas (KC area) and the state (under a democraptic governor) has put the entire state in a state of emergency. Canceling the state high school basketball tourneys and a myriad of other things. We haven’t seen the run on TP yet, but I’m sure the media will continue to push it until we do.

We are in KC now, and the TP issue is an issue up here. Why??? Corona is an upper respiratory illness, has nothing to do with “that part” of bodily functions. Who the f*@k knows.??

I’m going to be installing some light fixtures today for #3 in their basement, but I need to go buy a couple items.

Later guys, stay safe, healthy and out of the stores where the hoards of people are trying to buy TP.

The TP is if you have to self quarantine for a couple of weeks you have the needed supply. Everything public cancelled around here. I went to pick up some prescriptions for Sue last night at Walgreen's and they had plenty of TP but I had no back up packages at home so I bought two packs. That's my usual reserve, Not hoarding but prepared for the worst.
Sues surgery was relatively quick. Waited 2 hours before the 45 minute surgery and about 45 minutes after. I was home by 2:00. Left the house at 06:30 AM so I was at the hospital from 8:00 to about 12:30. Not bad really. They have a Don Pan eatery in the courtyard so I had a Cafe con Leche and a spinach and cheese empanada. Benefits of living in a Hispanic dominant community.
