Uwoman says thanks.....she is attending her college class this morning via the Zoom telecast on the computer.... The dogs and I are under house arrest until that is over....... no barking or noise permitted.... its hard for me not to make noise..... I'm older now.....

Lil Honda is so close to being done.... wiring is done..... got to get a few light bulbs for the dash and then will come the attempt to start the 56 year old iron.... got compression, got spark, got air, got fuel..... no way it won't run right? Kick start only..... no electronic starters on these babies.......

the Fiddysix will go into the Sound Doctor on the 8th to get the new sound machine installed and then it is done and ready to travel....

The Corvette is perfection already so nothing new going on there....

I'm tired of the F'n pandemic.... I want to do stuff and go places.... I want to watch Baseball...... a Pox on whoever started this crap..... a double Pox.....and the fleas of a thousand camels on them also.... Sonsabiches....

Ok..... one foot in front of the other Guru's.......

Good morning, all.

Happy belated birthday, Ultrawoman!

Gris, I'm glad darling wife is healing.

Rainy (again) in the Philadelphia area. The rain has emphasized that some of our downspout extenders were failing, so I braved a trip to Home Depot early this morning to get some more.

It's not that I don't have things to do but under the current circumstance it's easy for me to ask "Why?" Why wash the cars, why work on anything? I put 10g's into the stock market on some seriously stressed companies in the hopes there would be some sort of rebound after this disaster rolls through. My gamble is down 20% already but I invested on the hopes of a one to two year return. Mixed stocks on cruise lines, airlines, MGM, IMAX a solar power company and a dental supply company. Things were looking up, then things started going down. I put it at risk when I invested it. In two years I 'll either look like a genius or and idiot. If my past is any indicator I better go looking for a dunce cap.

I want to get in on some stocks right now but am worried to. Long range goals for me but still. I just had one bankrupt on me. I only had $1000 in it but shit I didn't need to lose it.
Im not smart about all that either. wished i was.
Happy belated birthday to UWoman!
Overcast here, on my day off. Naturally it was a very perfect day yesterday. I have some things to plant. Our fav nursery was open and masks and gloves and wipes in hand and literally nobody there but me and like 2 people, was okay. I have two new rose bushes, and a tray full of other odd and ends to add to my yard mess. I'll get those planted today and need to dig up some cannas for a friend I'll set on her doorstep probably tomorow.
My giant aloe dropped a leaf and alcohol and aloe gel is impossible to find here for making hand sanitizer. A friend is a nurse so she has alcohol but this giant leaf will give her plenty of aloe. I swear this plant is gonna start requiring small animals soon.
My pygmy date palms however aren't doing well. Each plant lost one trunk to bud rot. I watered and fertilized according to instruction but still happened. One had a bunch of brand new growth , long fronds ready to open and bam, flopped over. WTF.
Y'all have a good day and be safe.
And if you do not have a mask to wear out, I'm bout to use my motorcycle cloth face shield and cut filters for it myself. My vacuum uses hepa filter bags, 99.7% filtration so hoping it will help.

Very cool mask..... Uwoman is making me a Camo one..... niiiice!

I just invested some bucks in the FAANG stocks....they have a kind of mutual fund that buys a mix of shares from Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflicks and Google...... no losers there..... I do have regular Amazon stock also and we have Facebook and both those have done well...... they are down now somewhat but will head up soon... I hope...... Utilities are safe.....

When this finally passes there will be a boom.....so hang on and now is the time to buy in.....

A local farmer loaded Sue up with yellow squash, zucchini and green beans. She distributed some and brought some home. Farmers don't have a market so the stuff is either going to rot in the fields or they are giving it away. Unless they have crop insurance. Then it's just gonna wither away.

Hey guys, I slept in then headed to the shop to try and finish up the construction of the second bedside table. I did get that accomplished and the stain on it. Tomorrow (it's supposed to be warmer low 70s) I'll get some finish sprayed on and then we can get them into the room....Rosie is ready for them, she moved things around today in prep.

It was pretty chilly when the day started but finally got up into the mid 50s late in the afternoon.

I'm tired and have dosed off a couple times this evening. Headed to bed.
