CLOUDY AND COOL WITH A THUNDER STORM LOOMING, ONE OF THOSE MORNINGS THAT MAKE YOU WONDER WHY YOU BOTHERED TO GET OUT OF BED.

GOT CAR TAGS TO BUY AND A CREDIT CARD BILL TO PAY. THE KUNG FLU HAS DRASTICALLY REDUCED MY CREDIT CARD AND GASOLINE USE :-)

DARLING WIFE DUE HOME THIS EVENING, IT WON'T BE A VERY NICE DRIVE FOR HER.

TOMMY, I HOPE SUE IS DOING OK.

Morning guys...cloudy, but seasonably warm this morning. We finally had a nice shower last night. Had about 2 inches of thunder and lightening, but only about .25 inch of rain. Looking for a high in the upper 60s. Possibility of rain, off and on today.

Going to assemble three of the sneeze guards today and then we need to go to the 'city'. I'm meeting with three different people over there for projects.

It's been nice here... sunny and pleasant... very SoCal! Upper 60s during the day, upper 50s at night.

Just getting some things done around the house... the job hunt has been slowed by COVID-19...

Sue is going into surgery as I write. They are calling me at different steps of the procedure.

Marcus. I will show you some pics. I guess on the positive side I will never have another high electric bill in my lifetime. Sue should see the benefit of mostly free electric as well as sonny-boy when we are dead and gone, if he gets the place. We bought a 22.5 kw system . It produces a max of 24.1 and minimum based on cloud cover or rain. Right now it is overcast and producing around 9300 kw. We use a lot of power with irrigation and the Koi pond that runs 24/7. A/C eats a lot too. Most people only need a system half that size and half the price. We actually could have gone a little smaller but I'll let you know in January when the power company sends me a check for any overage. They really are not fond of you making more power than you consume. I'll be happy if we break even. I got a great price on the system. Paid $2.50 a kw which is on the low end of the scale. Average cost for a system that size is between 60 and 70k in FL. We paid 60. We are on the grid. Not on batteries. In a power outage we're shit out of luck. Battery tech is lagging so I may or may not ever go to batteries. Still have my 6500 kw diesel generator for emergencies.

Sue is in the recovery room and a little loopy. She's in a lot of pain but I expected that. They worked on a nerve and shaved a bone. Minimal info from the hospital but I really kind of know what's going on. I have way too much experience with this sort of thing.

Well, got the three guards assembled. Headed over to the 'city', dropped off Rosie at GS #1 house so she could sit and wait for the appliance repair guy. Met with the first guy at Menards and gathered up some of his, in stock, materials....and got all the rest special ordered. Called guy 2 and met with him at the bank (branch of our local) to measure up for sneeze guards there and pick up a couple more sheets of polycarbonite to build them. Then went by the third persons house to measure up for a stairway gate to keep his youngster from falling down the stairs.

Back to pick up Rosie, and the repair guy was still there...with bad news it was going to require another part to get the dryer working. Then picked up a few groceries and then home. Very busy 5 hours.
