NOW THAT'S AN EARLY START!

IT'S SUNNY, CALM, AND MILD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, SUPPOSED TO BE A TAD COOLER TODAY. PUP DRAINED & PENNED, HOUSECAT MEDICATED AND FED. FEEDING TROUBLE AND ME STILL TO GO.

DARLING WIFE DUE HOME TODAY, HAVE TO RELOCATE CARS SO SHE CAN PARK IN THE GARAGE, PICK UP THE EMPTY BOTTLES, PARTY TRASH, AND DISCARDED LINGERIE AROUND THE HOUSE :-)

BOOMERANG IS CLOSED ON SUNDAY, I'LL HAVE TO GO TO MUSKOGEE FOR BREAKFAST. I DOUBT MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST BUFFET IS OPERATIONAL THESE DAYS.

AND IN THE NEWS:
IT SEEMS THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CALIFORNIA CAN'T KEEP THE LIGHTS ON. NO PROBLEM, ALL THE POLITICIANS AND PLUTOCRATS HAVE GENERATORS---

Perks of reaching 60 or being over 70 and heading towards 80!
1. Kidnappers are not very interested in you.
2. In a hostage situation you are likely to be released first.
3. No one expects you to run--anywhere.
4. People call at 8 PM and ask, "Did I wake you?"
5. People no longer view you as a hypochondriac.
6. There is nothing left to learn the hard way.
7. Things you buy now won't wear out.
8. You can eat supper at 5 PM .
9. You can live without sex but not your glasses.
10. Your supply of brain cells is finally down to manageable size.

Morning guys...#3 just left for home and now it is much more quiet. We are putting thing up and scaling back the kitchen table, washing bedding and just getting things back to normal.

We will make a run to the 'city' after while to restock the cupboards.

What are these "brain cells" you are referring to, Gris?

0120? That's a fine line between Saturday night and Sunday morning... damn...

We are having a heatwave here in SoCal... I think our area may be free of it... coastal regions break first, usually.

It is supposed to be 75 here in SP today, whereas it is supposed to be 105 in Pasadena, 40 miles north. Ouch. Never boring!

GRIS Do you prefer the softness of silk or the comfort of cotton? Do you have a difficult time finding nice lingerie in your size?

Good afternoon, all.

Dreary looking but comfortable temperatures in the Philadelphia area today.

Yesterday morning, I put about 2/3rds of a gallon of Drylok Extreme on the wall that leaked when the tropical storm came through a couple of weeks ago. The Extreme seems to be even heavier than the normal Drylok ("painting with concrete," says my wife), so it was quite a workout.

However, I felt okay (though tired) yesterday afternoon and evening … until … about 8:00 PM, when everything started to hurt. I went to bed earlier than usual and slept until it wasn't helping anymore. Today, I'm better—but I'm definitely not getting to coat #2 today. At least it looks decent.
