THE WIND IS NOT SWEEPING DOWN THE PLAIN AT THE MOMENT, BUT SO FAR EVERYTHING'S GOING MY WAY :-)
OUR PRETTY WEATHER IS DUE TO BE TANKED BY THE GULF STORMS BRINGING RAIN. THE CHEROKEES WILL ENJOY IT WHILE WE HAVE IT. #1 SIL COMING OVER THIS AFTERNOON TO PUPPY-PROOF THE DOG PEN---WE HOPE. TROUBLE IS DRAINED AND PENNED, BRAVECAT IS MEDICATED AND FED, MY MORNING COFFEE RATION IS ABOUT GONE. I MISS WHITEFOOT THE BARN CAT, SAD TO SAY, FREE RANGE CATS DON'T LAST LONG. Good news for me is the storm will stay well south. Not so good news for someone else. I've been working my ass off but my ass is still the same size.
 Been outside in high temp weather. Outside of the dripping sweat I've adjusted to the summer temperatures pretty well. The key is to stay out when you are out. In and out of the A/C will kill ya. I come in to get a drink but then right back out. No pussyfooting around inside. I love when I get on a roll. I can actually see stuff getting done in front of my eyes.  I have a better chance when the phone doesn't ring. |

Hey guys, slept in a bit Then went for a ride 4 wheeler and a Polaris side-by-side. Took a 20 mile jaunt through the country side. Beautiful country.
Just finished up lunch and they are taking us out to see some other stuff after while Hate to, but, headed home tomorrow morning. |
