SHRUBBERY NEEDS TRIMMING AGAIN, HATE THAT. THE OBSTACLE COURSE IS IN DIRE NEED OF MOWING. I MAY JUST LET IT GROW SOME MORE AND HOPE I CAN CUT IT ONE LAST TIME FOR THE YEAR.

DW WON'T LIKE THAT :-)

I also must mow the jungle but it won't be the last time... maybe every two weeks will work....

will get set up in the shop for the floor project...found some laminate flooring that was close to what we put in the office in 08... 10mm thick and the old stuff is 8mm thick but you will not be able to tell where they come together.... will start on that project next week....

beautiful weather here today..... good day to get the Vette out and do some roaming around.... have not driven that car near enough this year....

take charge Guru's...

Hey guys... Busy day. We slept in some, then I headed out to the shop to work on the new front door. Friend from down the street came down and wanted to work on the 'coffee bar' pump organ they brought back and dropped here for me to convert. He's been over applying the stain and finish. We needed to turn some "bun feet" to raise the thing up a bit (about 3")....he acted like he wanted to do the turning, but he hasn't done any turning since he was like a sophomore in high school ... and he's a year older than I am. So I let him do the rough turning, after some quick instruction. Then turned four buns and to finials. After I got them turned, he stained and finished them.

Thiss 'detour' kept me from getting a lot done on the door, but I still got the mortises and tenons cut on the stiles and rails.

I've fired up the pellet grill and will grill a couple KC strip steaks for supper.

Good evening ,
Beautiful here today, slept in wayyyy past my normal sleep-in, didn’t wake up till 10:30 after going to bed at 12. Reckon I needed it. Was overcast out so after coffee I emptied the garage, cleaned it out, put crap back, did laundry, went grocery shopping and made dinner. Having a protein shake for dessert. The garage fiasco (Windows, blinds n all) made me so worn out n seating so much I was shaking - empty stomach . Lesson learned.
Hope everyone had a good day
I need to change my rear blinker bulb. That’s what I went out in the garage to do in the first place. In My search for a bulb - squirrel- and I’m off on another path. At least it’s over with
